Headquartered in North Billerica MA, we have been setting the standard for gunite construction and quality swimming pools since 1975. We are shockingly unique in the way that we build, eliminating the uncertainty of relying upon subcontractors and operating with fully in-house employees. This strategy allows us to take full responsibility for our client's projects.

"Hired this company for summer 2019 to open/close and clean weekly. In the month we used SSG, the pool was not cleaned properly once. 25 tiles were damaged mysteriously upon open, there were leaves and dirt left in the pool the entire time and we have not been able to use the pool yet. We expressed our disappointment and gave them more than enough chances to rectify things. They didn't. Pictures attached are from our pool and spa today - after the tech "cleaned" and left a bill for over $200. Absolutely horrible. Terminated contract."

"Wes and his team saved us from a terrible situation! We recently had our bathroom completely redone by a contractor who we didn't really know, and the work wasn't done well. We called in Wes, having worked with him several years ago to tile our kitchen, and he came by to take a look. Thank goodness he did! After his initial assessment, he knew right away that our "new" shower was likely leaking, and that there were multiple issues with both the tile and the structure of the shower itself. Wes coached us through buying the materials that we would need, and drew up a contract to get going on the project as soon as possible. After demolition, the problems really became apparent! All kinds of leaks, CUT FLOOR JOISTS, and other incredibly sketchy shortcuts from the original contractor. Wes walked us through the best strategy to fix everything and his team worked diligently to correct all of the issues and tile the shower beautifully. We will be working with Wes again for many more projects, particularly fixing the floor in this bathroom, which was also a hack job. He has been professional and courteous in all of our dealings with him, he shows up on time when he says he will, answers all of our questions truthfully and in depth, and he cleaned up after himself at the end of every day and at the end of the job, which is always a huge bonus! "I had tried to bleed the air out of my hot water baseboard system, and apparently have no idea what I'm doing and overpressurize my system to the point it popped the gauge off and stopped working. Called John, and he was there in short time, fixed all the damage I cause, actually taught me how to do things right, and was very fair about price. It's not often you find a plumber that responds, arrives quickly, does a great job, and is honest about price and helps you understand your system, even if it means that's less calls for his service. I would recommend him to anyone, and is the only plumber I'll call."

"Troy was excellent. Every time I reached out with a question or idea, he returned my call asap (usually within a few hours). He understood that I had to stick within a budget and went out of his way to find ways to make it happen. I decided to do much of the cosmetic work myself and he was very good about communicating when each portion of the project would be complete so that I could plan when to install flooring, put up paneling, etc. His whole crew was also helpful with advice (and even loaner tools on one occasion). He, and all of the subcontractors and workers, were professional, punctual, and friendly. I was very nervous about taking on such a big project in the summer months with four kids running around, but everyone was patient and kind with the million questions the kids asked and each day, every thing was cleaned up and left safely stored. The work itself has held up through its first winter. Everything still looks pristine, and it's definitely not raining inside the porch anymore. After years of sagging, nothing on that porch was square, but Troy and his team went above and beyond to make it work. Of course, nothing and no one is perfect, and there were some delays with materials, but Troy was always upfront about any delays, responded to my concerns, and got things back on track, I would happily hire this company again."
