"Listen to me: Hire Rusty Crain Concrete & Excavation for any concrete work and/or landscaping you need for your home or business. I was building a pool in my backyard earlier this year (February 2021), and after the pool was put in place, I had to wait for my pool builder’s concrete crew to secure the concrete and have availability to pour the concrete decking. Fast-forward to July, and there was still no movement on completing the project. Rusty and his crew then stepped in and were pouring concrete within a week of contacting him. My backyard was a fiberglass pool surrounded by a huge gravel pit before Rusty got involved – and as I write this in late October of 2021, it still may have been without Rusty’s connections and expertise. Pictures of the before-and-after are attached to this review. I cannot say enough good things about Rusty and the people who work for him (Alonzo and Alfredo are unbelievable and INCREDIBLY good at what they do). They framed and poured my pool deck – and broke down the forms – all in 1 day. It looks so good! While they were finishing up on the concrete, I asked Rusty if he could recommend any good landscaper to help turn the rest of my yard into a livable space – and he said, “Yeah… ME.” So, we talked over the vision I had for my backyard, and he came back a little while after the deck was finished to take measurements and sketch out a plan. When I tell you that the completed project was EXACTLY as I envisioned it in my head, I’m being 100% honest. He truly is a magician with a concrete wand. Here’s the deal: We all are apprehensive about having contract work done on our home or business. It’s nerve-wracking and we don’t want to get ripped-off on a job – especially if it turns out we don’t like it. Rusty is not the cheapest guy out there, and for good reason. He will explain every detail, be there at the site every single day, be able to change things on the fly to make sure you’re totally happy, and he’ll come back and check on the completed job as often as you’d like until you’re comfortable or just have any questions about how things turned out. I honestly could not be happier with the work he did for me. There’s not a tangible price I can put on peace of mind. Just to put a tidy little bow on this review about Rusty Crain: his wife is a literal competitive body builder; his oldest son is a veteran and served as an active-duty Marine; his other son was an undersized middle-linebacker in high school who set the school record for total tackles in a single game his Senior year. He and his entire family do not know the definition of “half-a**” or “just good enough”. The attitude, dedication, and pride he puts into his work is the “fine print” in his deals – and that’s WAY more important than the sticker price. "They showed up on time & did extra work at no charge as they replaced needed shingles - they noticed a bit of soft decking around our chimney when they were replacing the flashing and replaced a part of the decking while they were there. They could not find a match for the ridge vent shingles, so replaced all of the shingles instead of a few... Completely cleaned up when they left. They were able to match the roof shingles pretty well - almost an invisible patch..."

"They tried to repair the oven, but the parts were no longer available, so they had to purchase a new oven and install it. They purchased it because it was under home warranty. One of the reasons we keep renewing the policy is they're so good and so prompt and knowledgeable. I don't see any reason to go anywhere else. They were prompt and courteous and knowledgeable."

"We've used Complete Lawn Services for years.  They make appointments...they show up!   They call ahead for days of service and are on time!!   Prices are competitive and very fair.  The work is done quickly and at the cost estimated.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  They are excellent in every way.  Once they recommended someone who could do a particular service  cheaper...it was a service they could perform, but since they didn't do it often, another company could do it cheaper...Wow!  They are the first ones I call! <br />"

"The experience went really well. Communication was a bit patchy but compared to other companies who never even called us back, it was decent. We got a written quote for the pad and drive originally which included a military discount (3,600 total). My husband had mentioned to Donald that we were planning on resurfacing the rest of the driveway as well at some point in the future. On the day of service, Donald offered to a quote to do the rest of the work since the equipment was already on site and that included a military discount as well. The whole project was completed in a day and we are very satisfied with the results and the quality of work. Definitely would recommend him to friends and hire again."

"We have purchased many different plants and trees over the years from Scherz and have never been disappointed with them. The sales staff is very knowledgable as is every person we speak with there. We have returned plants a couple of times and there is absolutely no hassle about replacement and they also tell us what went wrong with the plant. They even admit if it was their fault as far as a bad plant. I cannot speak well enough about this company but rest assured it is an A+ company for sure."
