"Brad is the owner of this business and my primary contact for the project. The guy knows trees. We lost 4 trees to the drought, and he pretty much pegged exactly what had happened to them just by looking at them, such as when we'd let the lawn die, the last time a tree had been trimmed, etc. He gave us several options for work and pricing, and we decided on the priciest options to get the necessary work done at once rather than spread it out. He and his crew cleaned up after themselves, worked with us to save the cut trees for firewood, mulched the stumps and piled the mulch in nice tidy piles convenient for us to use in our yard, gave us GREAT advice on caring for the trees we still have and on replacing the dead ones. He was responsive, showed up exactly when he said he'd show up, was done when he said he'd be done, and was very professional, as was his crew. He even checked in with our neighbor to give her a heads up that debris from the removal of one of the trees would probably fall into her yard. Just really, really impressed with them from start to finish. Would highly recommend Brad and his crew and would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"It was just kind of an average experience. I have used them before because I have a tree in my backyard that is the suspect to a disease, fire blight. They came out and treated it and of course I cannot get rid of fire blight so I just called them back. And I discovered them on Angie's List so at least I got the discount for that. I have not used anybody else that I can use for comparison but they did the job but I still cannot get rid of the fire blights. What they did was about a three-hour job. They were supposed to come in the morning but they did not show up until like 2:00 in the afternoon."

"Mostly very good. They have certified arborists and do know how to shape trees and not just "cut" them. Accordingly, they are pricier. They also are good at explaining why certain things should or should not be done in order to keep the tree optimally healty. The only issue I had concerned a tree that they planted. I didn't receive instructions on how to care for the tree at the time it was planted. When I called about that, they apologized and said they forgot to give them to the workman for me and emailed them instead. That was fine. However, the description on the instructions of what the tree planting should look like when it was finished didn't match my tree. I inquired about that and they apologized and said that the workman was new to the company and hadn't yet been trained in how Grover expected things to be done. They said an arborist would come by to check it out and make sure everything was correct. That never happened. Unfortunately, at that time I had so many household issues that needed attention that I never was able to follow up on the query. But, other than that, they have been reliable."
