Hello I’m Vince. I’ve been in commercial construction about 12 years. I’ve also had about 3 of those years doing residential work. "They did not tell us until we called that gutter guards did not work with metal roofing. They changed out the guards and added screens to the gutters. However, they didn't put any kind of mechanism on the screen that would hold them to the gutters. All the screens eventually have blown off, and the gutters are constantly filled and we have to clean them. On our sunroom, they added siding inside and out on an existing screened porch. They never indicated upfront that they would insulate the room, but we didn't find out until afterward that they didn't put in any insulation. They stated after the fact that they could not add insulation without costing more money. The room is unusable room because it's too hot in the summer, and too cold in the winter. The door on the sunroom was hung backward with the hinges being on the outside of the house instead of on the inside. The metal roof has leaked twice right after it was installed. We had to deal with a leak for about 8 weeks, but they did eventually fix the leak."
