"Contacted Alan and we texted about what I wanted. He was able to estimate the size and provide me with wood and stain choices as well as price. He came out a day later and his crew installed the fence. There was a mix up on some panels but he sent the crew back the next day and switched out the panels that were not the right color. Iâ m am so pleased with my new fence and would highly recommend this company. Excellent service and value!!"

Customers say: True professional

"Juan and his crews have been great. This time, they installed a Black Chain Link Drive-Thru Gate and a run of fencing. They also did some minor repairs on an older Wood Fence. Juan and Crew have also replaced a portion of our Wood Fencing, Refurbished and Old Wood Deck, and had some Large Trees cut down for us. We have discussed Rock, Gravel, and Tip Soil and will be ordering some this summer. Juan is very easy to talk to, has good suggestions, and seems to be a wonderful man. His Crews have always been professional, respectful, and skilled. We will continue to use Juan Pineda for our yard and home needs that are too big, too difficult, or more specialized or technical than we are capable of attempting ourselves. 5+"

"Quick work, great customer service, even gave me a couple of referral names for shower pan repair work. Will use again! Update 8/27/2018: Vented a garage air conditioner and repaired a pocket door. Great job! Have already hired him again for some drywall and additional pocket door repairs."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Longview, TX

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.

Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.

Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
