"He perfectly double wrapped the shield so Bamboo will not migrate into neighbor's fence and overtake our yard. Juan is extremely fair in his pricing and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend him and his crew!"

"These guys were great. Work was done quickly and with no fuss. Communication was excellent throughout, including before and after pictures as the work progressed. I even asked for another job in the middle of the project and they accommodated me, no problem. Hire this company with confidence."

"When we first contacted them, Mariano came to give us a quote the very next day. The quote beat his competitors by a long shot, and he was a very nice guy who had received great reviews on Angie's List before. The initial yard clean-up & barkdust went forward as scheduled. We were delighted with his crew's work and speed with which they got it all done. However, once we scheduled them for twice monthly upkeep thereafter, there were THREE occasions where they did not show up on the day or time scheduled to do the maintenance. Each time we had to call and Mariano had someone there to do the work the next day, yet it was a major inconvenience not having them show when they would say they would. Our family's schedule is too busy for this kind of unreliability. Therefore we will not be using their services again this summer and will be hiring another company, even if that means paying a bit more."

"I will have Vivar come back and do more things for me. My new walk-way and patio look gorgeous. He does excellent work and his pricing is unbeatable. I got estimates from other people that was twice as much. He is amazing. He is there every day working. He doesn't just send other people in. He brings helpers with him but he is the guy that does the work. He is very meticulous and agreeable. He is easy to have around. He spent the most time of all the people I had do work around my house this past December. I think it is important to have someone you can stand to have in your house for days on end. He worked until it was done, even in difficult weather circumstances. We had to do the drainage immediately due to raining and flooding. He never complained and did an excellent job. He is very particular about how he wants things to look so he did tear things out a few times and started over. He is very meticulous. He has done other general work for me as well, like leaf collection, trimming, cutting grass and edging and he is really good at all of that, too."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Longview, WA

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
