"This is a terrific company. Tim, the roofing specialist, was prompt, informative, and quoted a price for the resealing of the roof and other repairs that was reasonable. The work was performed in a very professional and expert manner. The results, by my own inspection, exceeded expectations. I would recommend Flat Roofing Experts to anyone with a tar and gravel roof that needs repair or resealing. Exceptional experience."

"Juan and his team did an outstanding job on my new roof. My wife and I could not be happier. The job was completed quickly (three days) but the work was done with professional care. They left my place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Juan and his crew! I have attached some pictures as examples of the results."

"I expected the roof to be done a half at a time but they rearranged dates to complete the work all at once. Every person was specialized as this is not an easy roof job. The foreman explained the newest products on the underlayment and how it worked. The tiles on the edges were custom cut and lined up beautifully. Clean up was ongoing. Only one spot on my grass. Any extra tiles were left with me."

"I received Vargas Roofing contact information from Home Advisor and contacted Gilbert Vargas directly to discuss replacing the canales on my flat roof home with downspouts. Gilbert responded immediately and provided an onsite visit followed by a competitive estimate compared to several other vendors. Mr. Vargas worked his schedule around the fact that I was having the house stuccoed and returned once the schedule was final to discuss colors, and downspout configuration for each set of canales. I would highly recommend Vargas Roofing for your seamless gutter needs. Gilbert Vargas is a professional business person and attends to the job personally to ensure your satisfaction."

"I hired Vargas Roofing to repair two spots on an asphalt shingle roof. He also said that he could do the gutter cleaning. He set it up for a few days later. He came on time and worked alone. Within a few hours, he had patched the roof, did the gutter cleaning, and sealed everything. He even cut some branches so they didn't hit the roof. He was respectful of my property by cleaning up the shingles and all the leaves. Having one person do both jobs really was very helpful. I would hire him again."

"We have older flat roof that had 3 leaks - One roofer quoted much more for a full silicone coating. Another one said roof had to be torn off and done again for MUCH more. Ken pointed out that our existing surface was fine and just the joints needed work and he proposed a maintenance-level job with silicone at a more reasonable cost, with a 5-yr warranty. Job got done on schedule, just on time for rain and snow. Phew! It came out looking neat. The workers were careful at every step, helpful and pleasant in their communication."

"It was phenomenal, clean, neat, they were just wonderful. Because of their job, our neighbors also hired them to do their leaking roofs."

"Very professional. Always on time. Did what they said they would. Fix bad areas on my flat tar and gravel roof. Hasnâ t rain since, but With the looks of their work, Iâ m sure there will be no leaks. Thank you"

"Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one."

"Active Roofing's solution to our problematic flat roof was perfect."
