"Hired Luis for a complete foundation replacement for a home on a hill in Angelino Heights. Luis was very easy to work with from coordinating plans/permits, keeping to schedule, and scope changes along the way (LA City was a PITA). Luis was easy to talk to and his pricing was the best out of 5+ bids we got. Work involved replacing the entire footing/foundation, leveling interior floors, adding a few posts and support beams under the raised foundation, and replacing front patio cement area. Luis was always looking out for our bottom line and very efficient. Normally the type of foundation replacement we did requires multiple inspector visits but Luis knew the process well and only required one inspection after work was done, saving us a lot of money. Change orders were always handled professionally and very fair to both sides. Everything turned out great (I'm writing this review a year later). I highly recommend Angel Construction and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

Peace of Mind just finished installing battery backup for the Solar Panels they installed five years ago. I will not write the same things that most people have already written. There are plenty of people that sing praises regarding this business. Read those reviews and believe them! I will qualify myself by stating that I have a background teaching Vocational Education that has enabled me to do my own work during my life time. But, at my age I look for knowledgeable people that are quality oriented and honest. This is what you get at Peace of Mind Electrical and Solar. Since I have been hiring help, I want a Licensed Contractor. I am retired and have the time to research and vet who I hire. Respectfully Submitted, Micheal Please take the time to read this: THIS IS WHAT I WROTE FOR YELP FIVE YEARS AGO I believe that what readers of reviews want to hear first: I interviewed the three companies that you constantly hear on Southern California radio: two of the three reminded me of the old-time car salesmen. From Josh at Peace of Mind Electric, I got the best price with better panels. Several years ago, I watched his team install solar on the house just below mine. What I saw was a very professional group of young men that knew what needed to be done and did it. The job was 40 panels split between the house and patio roof. House roof panels were flat but the patio installation had to be angle-mounted in order to get the most from the sun. I was impressed and asked for a card. He said, "Call the boss last he will beat anyone." He was right--a better price with high-end Panasonic panels. If you want journeymen electricians that truly like working together, call Josh at Peace of Mind Electric. He can beat the others for two reasons; he keeps his profit margin lower in order to keep his crew busy and he isn't paying the thousands of dollars for the advertising you hear on the radio. "Buyer beware!!! I have never had such a nightmare with this company. Save your money and your sanity. They installed a patio cover for me. It leaked immediately. This was two years ago. For the past two years, they have been out at least 7 or 8 times claiming to "fix" the leaks. The leaks were not normal patio leaks by the way. The leaking has cause 3 of the 4 lights installed in the patio to fail. Every time they come, it's never fixed. The leaks keep getting worse. They never follow up with me, I always have to call them. They do not manage their sub contractors at all. This latest round started just before Christmas 2021, it's now been three months, four visits later. They took flashing off, said they were going to let it dry out and put it back. I didn't hear from them for two weeks, I noticed rain on the weather , I called Trig who had to send them back out to put the flashing back on. They sent some guy to do some more drastic sealing or something on my roof, they claimed it was done.....see attached photos of how they left my roof claiming it was done. Also, never followed back up with me on a light they need to replace which is still burned out and filled with water from rains. Save yourself the headache please!!! This still isn't resolved. I have filed a BBB compliant to try and help me resolve."
