"Very professional job. Their employee's were top notch. Called with arrival time and took the time to explain everything that they were going to do. When done they took the time to have us come out and inspect the work, and make sure we were happy. Will use this company from now on."

"Showed up when said they would. Power washed and waterproofed my deck. Cleaned my gutters. Very reasonable price. Thought they did an excellent job. Made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. I would hire them again."

"Perhaps I should be precluded from participating here - but Service Doctor has done several projects both residential and commercial for me and always delivers quality work on budget. To be forthright, Angie is my wife- Service Doctor did several projects for me and my business long before we were married. She takes her work very intensely; she carries it home with her, she accepts phone calls at night and over the weekends. I watch her deal with all the questions, changes, scheduling issues, and or just spend time bringing customers up to speed on the project status. I have observed and listened to her with her customers, with her co-workers and I have to say she goes above and beyond to provide a finished job that exceeds all expectations. She addresses her customers first, an example last summer I had to put a new roof on our home, a large job to remove the old and install 80 some squares of new cedar shakes, she pulled the crew from our home to take care of a few customers, I note she did so without hesitation. I just watched her anguish over a review- actually a reposted unenthusiastic review from over a year ago that was just reposted by “Chris”. Chris claims my wife was shockingly rude—interrupting, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I have never known Angie to be rude or unprofessional. When I do something stupid, I have seen her be dismissive. I have watched her deal with difficult people, difficult situations, her co-workers and sub-contractors. Being rude is just not in her DNA- and she is always correcting me when I struggle with being polite in difficult situations. She is not perfect –no one is – she works very hard doing it right, making the job go as painless as possible and controlling costs. All this to say I don’t know who this Chris guy is that is stalking my wife or why he can’t let go after a year- or why he keeps reposting negative comments anonymously with none of the underlying facts. So, Chris tells exactly what happened rather than just saying Angie and Jenna were rude and dismissive. What was the job, did they enter a contract with you to do the job, did they not finish the job, was the job delayed because materials were not available, if you have the balls to post a bad review – have the tenets to provide the facts. Yes, I am defending my wife, from an anonymous b****, and some Chris guy that seems to be stalking her, I would be foolish not to."

"We worked with almost 2 dozen different vendors on our extensive home remodel (essentially a gut) and have to say that James' company was simply a pleasure to work with. His company, along with our tile guy and our lead plumber were our top three vendors. They did everything that they said they would do, were respectful of the property, cleaned up well and...most important, did extremely high-quality work. We worked with several vendors from Angie's list, ranging from mediocre to outright horrible. James' company was a refreshing change."

"Scott and Audi worked on my home recently and did a phenomenal job. They are a local business that prides themselves on being honest, knowledgeable, and getting the job done on schedule. I would hire SHI again in a heartbeat - they took my house from drab to fab in the matter of 3 days. Audi, thanks again for being so wonderful to my kids!!"

"Three stumps were ground - that was done well. Problem is driver drove all over my property - going down and up hill into a wetland behind my house rather than go back to the street to get to the other side of house. Then he backed every which way over my neighbors yard. Might also mention they were 3 days late from scheduled appointment with no notification they were missing scheduled appointment or arrival on day they did come"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Lowell, IN

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
