"The project went very well. Timing and budget were met. More importantly, I had a curvy design (drawn on graph paper) and a new material in mind (recycled rubber pavers, now offered by Azek). Unlike many of the contractors I spoke with, Jeff from MasonWorks was willing to work with my design and this unfamiliar material that involved laying plastic grids over the compacted base and then installing the pavers. The pavers themselves could be cut with a woodworking tools. I wanted a dogwood blossom design on the entry and main patios which required a lot of diagonal cuts. I didn't want to pay for the extra labor to make that happen, so MasonWorks team laid the pavers in a random pattern and gave me a few days before applying the sand to lock in when I was able to cut and rearrange the pavers to make my design. I am so thrilled with the result. I had wanted a deck, but the raised terrace was a great solution that didn't conflict with zoning. The work was done in 2011 and, 8 years later, it is holding up really well, even though I did dig out the base material pretty close to the edge of the pavers to allow for more planting. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. "Tomas was excellent! He did an incredible job and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the work he did. He helped us demo planters and install pavers on our driveway and patio. He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. We would definitely book his crew again for future projects!"

"John came out to look at a project that had been started by someone else but took way to long and more had been done then I wanted. This was a "so called friend" that was supposed to just lengthen my driveway by one car length but ended up tearing up my driveway and backyard and not doing the job I wanted. John was very attentive to my needs and gave me a price to close all of it up except the carpentry part and he could do it all in 2 weeks. His price was extremely reasonable considering the mess I was left with and he started right away. In less than 2 weeks he completed the project and tied my new wall in with the old one perfectly.
