"I recently contracted with Drywall by Design to have the drywall in my partially-finished 3-car garage completed. I did my due diligence, reaching out to several different contractors and drywall companies to get competing bids. Out of the five companies I contacted, only three would even come to my house to have a look before drawing up an estimate. Drywall by Design was one of those companies and from the moment he arrived / began his inspection, it was clear to me which company I was going to go with. Gerald and his crew could not have been more professional and courteous. He clearly explained what it was he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and how long it would take. Not only did his estimate beat all the other contractors, Gerald and his team did a superb job hanging, mudding, and taping the new drywall. They also went over all the existing drywall put up years ago when the house was built in 2008, repairing lifted tape, exposed screw heads, cracks, and they repaired a large hole in the ceiling where I had roof repairs done previously. By the time they finished the job, Gerald and his team completely transformed my garage. With a fresh coat of paint, my garage is now just as nice as any of the interior rooms of my house. I could not be happier with the results. "This is a company that does not stick to their word. They don't show up when they say they will and do not take pride in their work. I had a basement flood and they were recommended to replace drywall, carpet and doors. The drywall job is sub par. There is texture overspray on wood and all over the furnace. They left old broken pieces of trim in the furnace closet and swept their garbage into the furnace room and just closed the door. The doors were hung incorrectly. They installed keyed door knobs on bathroom doors. Outlet holes were cut too large and then plates were put on without fixing the holes. Outlets were only connected to the plate and not to the studs. The carpet is Terrible! There are gaps in the carpet and along the walls. The pattern changes in spots and it is very noticeable. They took an old door jamb cut the damaged portion off the bottom and used it for a closet and didn't even put a door on it. I have spent hundreds of dollars and many hours going back over the work"

However, after the job was finished, I paid the owner and I requested an invoice confirming full payment on two separate occasions and have yet to receive it. I sent a text message to the owner including photos, asking for his opinion on what might need to be done to address the bubbling issue.
