"We have used Evergreen Landscape Maintenance for 17 years.  They have done an excellent job of keeping our yard looking nice for all that time.  I feel we have the nicest looking yard on the block.  The owner is very knowledgeable about all aspects of yard care.  We appreciate so much that he is always available for needed repairs or problems that spring up suddenly.  They have even planted trees for us.
I can't really make a judgement about their monthly bill because I don't know what other yard service businesses charge.  Evergreen adds an extra fee for repairs, spraying, etc., but we feel those charges are very reasonable.  Their billing procedures, however, are often quite inconsistent.  We're never quite sure when---or if---the bill will arrive.
The work crew is speedy and efficient.  They watch for any problems that need to be addressed.  Sometimes after there has been some bad weather (or maybe a holiday) they don't show up for their weekly service, but that is to be expected.  I think communication could be a little better at times.  We're never quite sure when someone will show up for needed repairs, etc.  It is always handled in a reasonable amount of time, though.  The owner has been known to even show up at night after a long workday to take care of the problem.
All in all, we are very pleased with the service provided to us by Evergreen Landscape Maintenance.  We would recommend them to anyone looking for a good landscape maintenance provider.

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Manton, CA

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
