Our house is on the other side of the fence in question, and the fence we received was exactly the one specified in the contract. The reviewer just doesn't like the fence we ordered and received. We highly recommend Standard Fence--its prices are competitive and the service was excellent and very prompt. When the neighbor was unhappy with the fence, Standard Fence went out of its way to make her happy, including adding a privacy screen at its own expense. It appears that's not possible to satisfy her other than by refunding her money or putting up a different fence of her choosing, both of which are unreasonable. Questioning the owner's integrity in a review is bad form."

Mike, Solomon, Rachel, and crew were all personable, professional, and overall pleasant to work with. "Our HOA has used SVL for about 6 years now. When they started, they were very accommodating and did an excellent job. Over the past 2 or 3 years, though, the quality of their work has gone way downhill. Crews are unsupervised and there is no follow up by Management to check on what they've accomplished. What used to be a landscape company has become a mere "mow and blow" business that charges a premium price for borderline performance. They did several major landscaping/xeriscaping jobs for our HOA over the years, and they were all beautiful initially, but are virtually unsustainable without intensive labor, which they are not willing to perform. I give them credit for doing a great job of snow removal during last winter's heavy snows, but their performance during the other three seasons of the year is less than satisfactory."
