"We recently had a toilet leak in an upstairs bathroom which caused damage to the ceiling and beautiful wood flooring in the dining room and kitchen areas below in our rental house. I knew immediately who to reach out to because Tommy, the owner of Pure Restoration, and I have worked together before. I knew his work ethics and I knew as stressful as the situation was (we had impatient and demanding tenants living in the house at the time), Tommy would shoulder the majority of the work, including dealing directly with the insurance company. Dealing with the insurance company was a nightmare, especially getting them to agree to an amount that would cover the damages adequately. At times I felt like giving up because the process was so long and tedious; however, with Tommy’s help and support, we finally got the coverage that we needed to make appropriate repairs and return the property to its previously beautiful condition. "Excellent job over several weeks. Consistently on time, efficient and fast, always cooperative and pleasant to work with. Various size crews from one to three depending upon the job to be done. We had extensive needed work done. We feel the cost was reasonable though fairly expensive at a total of $9,800 plus $39 for the initial inspection. We have a single story, 2,500 sq. ft. house with attached garage and rear separate patio enclosure. First, a licensed inspector went over the exterior, the interior, the huge unimproved attic, the garage interior and separate patio enclosure. He provided us with a detailed plan view identifying the many visual and suspected locations of both subterranean and drywood termites as well as dry rot. Two different kinds of environmentally approved chemical treatment were used for the two types of termites. They treated all around the outside of the house by boring holes every 12 inches through the concrete slab and inside through the wall and windowsill to inject for subterraneans, sprayed for drywood termites in attic, garage inside and all exterior fascias/shiplap/corbels along with patio wood posts. Cost $3,200. Two year warranty. In the attic they cleaned out all insulation along with field rat droppings, vacuumed, treated rafters for drywood termites, spray sanitized, closed some air duct open spots, checked for and sealed rat access point, re-installed new higher rated insulation (R38), set rat traps which were inspected several times over about three weeks & no rats found. Cost $4,800. They removed and replaced damaged wood members, splicing in new wood or filling areas with minor damage with wood filler and prime painted these areas. Cost$1,800."

After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results.
