"Mike is hands down the best contractor we have ever hired. The previous owners of our house had done some beautiful and expensive hardscaping and landscaping probably 40 years ago, but it was all badly in need of renovation when we bought the house a few years ago. We wanted to restore it all and make a few improvements rather than start over, and Mike was fully on board with that approach from the moment he arrived. All I had to do was show him what needed to be addressed, and he immediately knew the right way to handle everything, including how to address all our concerns about pitch and drainage, since our property slopes down from the street. He restored our property and made it even more beautiful that we imagined it could be. In particular, he had the idea of covering our existing concrete walkways and steps with blue stone instead of demolishing and pouring new concrete--it cost about the same, is gorgeous, and goes perfectly with house and front yard area. But everything he did looks like it was meant to be here--nothing looks like an add-on. In addition to his great design ideas, Mike was very engaged and responsive. Not only does he have a great crew, but he was at our house almost every day checking their work, having them fix details that weren't to his standards, and walking me through what was done and what would be done next. And he always responded quickly to calls and texts to address any questions or concerns we had. This was a huge investment for us and needed to be done right, and Mike did exactly that. We were in very safe hands with Mike and recommend him without reservation."

"I am very pleased with the back-yard patio Conrad and his crew installed. Cost was very competitive. Timeline for project was very close to original estimate. Conrad was very helpful in helping us make final design decisions, especially on picking the paver block style and color. He also promptly addressed all of me concerns, even though they were mostly minor. His crew also worked with me to get the final outline of the patio, with many curves. Del Mar Landscaping is definitely on the top of my list for any future landscaping work."

"We hired Cipriano to removed about 2,000sf of gravel and plants at our new house and put in a new irrigation system with new grass. His pricing was lower than the other bids we received and he was able to get started as soon as we gave him the go ahead. Working with him was truly a pleasure. He noticed some of the plants we had in an upper planting area had died so he transplanted some of the ones we were taking out at no extra cost. He made sure everything was done correctly and you can tell he really cares about what he does. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. "Mark Ovitch and Eminent Construction are the best! My husband and I got 3 estimates to redo our concrete driveway which was being destroyed by tree roots. Then we got Mark's estimate to install pavers instead of concrete. It was less expensive to do pavers, and it looks so much nicer!!! We were also able to install a front walkway, which I've been wanting for more than 25 years. His workers are very professional, and the project was completed in 3 days!! "Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress. Our backyard is now a true extension of our living space, and it's welcoming to kids and adults. A great big thanks to Motti and his team!"

"G&L came out to hardscape our lawn, planter box and driveway. Mike met with us a few times and gave us designs and layout for planter (and some drought resistant plants that will continue to grow). We also had a few meetings with Dee to discuss the schedule, design, paving stone samples (from Angeles stone), and address drainage solutions for the synthetic lawn. Very accommodating to our schedule - holding off for 2 weeks while we were out of town. Once work started, Carlos and his did a quick and superb job with demo, clearing, pavers and turf. They were all super friendly and answered any and all questions we had during the process. We're happy with result(s) and would recommend!"
