Small jobs welcome

I started my lawn business in the spring of 2020, inspired by a love for landscaping and the desire to provide a service that enhances the beauty of homes and communities. The pandemic provided an unexpected opportunity; with more people staying home, they began to focus on their outdoor spaces, leading to increased demand for lawn care services.

"I contacted Rich at the number provided, and he was quick to respond. We played phone tag a couple times, but eventually were able to speak with each other. I explained the situation to him and he asked a number of questions to narrow down the problem.
I had an old analog sprinkler control box that no longer worked on a automatic mode, and required the streaker system to be turned on and off manually.
He stated he could replace the box with the digital control box that would allow me to electronically schedule the watering of my lawn and different zones.
He stated he would be able to come to the house within two days and affect the repair. He also quoted me a $250 estimate.
Rich and another gentleman arrived on time on Wednesday morning and took less than 30 minutes to make the repair.  He tested the system, including the installation of the box. He actually found the box was a little too loose in its attachment to the wall, so he fixed that.
I am very pleased with the installation, with his service, and the price.
I would recommend Triton Irrigation without reservation.

"I was worried that the Bischofia would hit the house when they cut it down, but they were totally professional and in control at all times. They used a truck with a bucket, like a utility worker uses. The sawyer was able to position the bucket exactly where he wanted it, and cut the tree down in bit size pieces. Sometimes he would tie a limb onto the bucket so it would not drop onto the house.
They had trouble finding bahiagrass, so the start was delayed a few days, and the first day of work they arrived several hours late. However, once they began, they worked hard, and finished in a timely manner. They did a good clean-up. They gave clear instructions on how to help the lawn get established."

"Great service and a great crew. Arrived on time to treat the house. Service team was friendly and professional. Treated the inside and outside efficiently with lots of helpful tips to reduce future problems. They even called out a malfunctioning sprinkler head on the lawn which was causing standing water. In short, a great company that I would highly recommend and plan to continue using."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Marco Island, FL

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
