Customers say: Super punctual

"Cody, and all the workers at Ramsey & Family Tree Service did an excellent job removing 10 large, and very tall trees that were too close to our home. They were prompt and very considerate and careful about our property. They cleared all the branches and trunks, leaving even our driveway clear of debris! We fully recommend Cody and his team for any tree removal projects!"

"They were very professional and pleasant when I called.  I arranged to have someone come to my home to provide me with an estimate on having a maple removed from my backyard.  That same day, Brandy  came over and left me with an estimate for the work, and I didn't need to be there at the time.  Price was very reasonable.  I called them again as I had neglected to ask about stump removal after the tree was cut down and they provided me with a name of someone who they work with that would be able to perform that part of the service.  The whole experience in communicating with them was very nice but I was able to find another organization who could both remove the tree and stump for about the same price as I was quoted by A Woman's Touch Tree Care for just the tree removal.  I am hoping that the company I selected will be as efficient and pleasant to work with as A Woman's Touch has been.  I do appreciate that, unlike some other companies I called for estimates, they were quick with getting back with me and very easy to work with.  Were it not for a small price difference I would have definitely used them for the job.

"Derek was easy to reach to set an appointment. He called ahead when they had a cancellation and was very punctual. He and and the crew did a nice job- removed the stump, did not damage our lawn doing so, cleaned up all the wood, filled the whole with soil and grass seed. Also cleaned up well after trimming the trees."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Marengo, OH

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
