"We had D&R Concrete do a very large addition of a circular driveway at our house. This included a partial ripout of our existing straight driveway. Everything went extremely well. As a whole, the company was responsive, communicated well, and most importantly, showed up when they said they would. The crew was very helpful in explaining what they were doing, made minor changes at my request and were very courteous to our family. It was clear during the pour that the D&R crewmemberts were looking out for us to make sure that everything was done properly - special thanks to Mr. Buggs. "This job was done in February 2017. I just discovered I never finished writing the review. So here it is 3 years later. First, doing this review now lets me tell you that our new metal roof made it through Hurricane Michael with flying colors. We had other storm damage ($25,000 worth) but the roof did fine. The job was done on schedule though interrupted by two afternoon heavy rain events. First class installation by a team that showed up on-time each morning, worked hard and got along well together. They were proud of their work and and cleaned up the site when done even using a magnetic sweeper to lift any roofing nails that might have fallen. The roof we chose was white which made our house really stand out over the gray siding and white trim. Moreover, our HVAC bills were lowered (I track it). Last, I want to tell you that Guyson are more than just roofers after your money. They are fine local people. Recently, my 94 year-old neighbor climbed on his roof to do some repairs. He fell off the roof onto a concrete pad and spent 5 days in intensive care. 20-some staples in his head, boot on his left leg and badly bruised ribs but super lucky to be alive. Needless to say, he's not going to get on the roof anytime soon. I get "the cat claws" when I'm on a pitched roof. So I called Guyson and when they heard the story they came out and looked at the job. Although they are swamped and this is a small job they're gonna do finish the repair anyway. God love 'em. BTW, my neighbor's fall is how I found out I never finished this review I started in 2017."

"It was a small job, but one that had kept me busy for hours: connecting my dryer to the vent on the wall. An "easy enough" project left me with cuts and sore fingers, not to mention a bruised ego. I found Tracy here on Angie's List and went to his website to put in a work order around 11:30pm. I expected someone to "get around to me" in a couple of days or so, as that is how it usually works, even though I was in desperate need of laundry! The next morning I was contacted, letting me know that he could get out there that day! He showed up when he said he would, spent very little time, and got everything connected perfectly, thereby saving my home from the inevitable lint fire from the kinked hose I had "installed." I would absolutely use them again for my handyman needs."

"Dwight from Cornerstone Construction is the REAL deal! I am probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to contractors. I have never liked a single one, but Dwight is absolutely wonderful. They have remodeled our entire kitchen (removed our whole old kitchen and replaced it with a brand new kitchen including appliances, exhaust, backsplash, etc) - it looks perfect, which I NEVER say. I have no conflict of interest....I am tired of contractors who don't do a good job so when I found Dwight, I was ecstatic. I have used his company for the build out of my medical office and always refer our friends and family to him."

"Jim was prompt with his proposal and offered a location for us to see other doors he had installed.  His employee, Cody that installed our doors arrived on time every day (which in itself is a feat for Key West) cleaned up after himself and was professional and friendly.  The doors are very high quality and look wonderful! <br />"

"Matt's response was swift. He came and assessed the work that needed to be done and gave what we found to be a fair estimate. Shortly after returning to his office he called back to inform us that he would lower the price because he found that he had a dumpster available for the rubble. As it was a relatively small project he brought an additional worker. Before starting the demolition they searched along the perimeter of the concrete for the presence of lines or pipes. After ascertaining that it was clear they proceeded to cut the concrete into smaller blocks in a professional and efficient manner. No cracks were created in the concrete that remained . They cleared the area of all debris and left it looking nice and clean. They even graciously consented to remove some broken stepping stones that were in the backyard. We were very impressed with their workmanship and the cleanly cut edges of the concrete. Now the landscaper can proceed to putting in sod as there was no appreciable delay because of the quick response. We will have a backyard to be proud of."
