"BLUF: I highly recommend Blue Tide Exteriors Details: I was originally hesitant to contact this company based on some less than favorable reviews. However, knowing that some individual's expectations can be... unreasonable, we contacted Blue Tide Exteriors for our relatively simple job to have a cover constructed over our flagstone patio. Blue Tide Exteriors was prompt with responding, gave us an excellent walkthrough of our options and what to expect, and was upfront with pricing and timelines. We couldn't be happier with their recommendations and the final product exceeds our expectations. As an example of their quality, the workers from Blue Tide took the dug out dirt from our footers and filled in some noticeable depressions in our backyard, rather than just putting the excess dirt in a corner. These details, as well as the overall professionalism of Blue Tide, is why I recommend them without hesitation, and I intend to use them again for any exterior work. Please don't let the negative reviews sway you, this company is professional and delivers quality results at a very reasonable price."

"Used gravel from parking pad without permission and when replaced at end of job only a partial replacement in terms of thickness. Would not move drainage pipe when pointed out there would be a problem with tree roots in a few years Any landscaper could see this would be an issue. Machinery put stress cracks in drive."

"I hired him to do the things that i could see. We were completely rehabing a house. There were lots of things that I did not <br /> know to order so I would just put them on the list as they would turn up. He is a no fan fare guy that knows how to do a lot <br /> of stuff. He seems to know how things are done and what will need to happen next. As he worked we discussed my plans <br /> for the house in the future and in his conversation he laid out the plan for my getting every thing done and he made some suggestions that I might want to do in the future. He is not pushy but he is confident in his skills. He knows Rome wasn't built in a day so you do what has to be done now and then the next time he will add another layer onto that. He is not free but he is <br /> fair and his work is good and complete. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Marshall, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
