"Steve is wonderful to work with. We hired him to skim coat a very rough cement basement wall. He came on time for an estimate, was certain of what he could do and how it would work out. He was prompt to reply to any questions. He showed up when he said he would. The job was finished within his estimate of cost and time. Steve is a master craftsman, a rare find these days. He takes care from setup to cleanup. His work is meticulous. The finished product exceeded our expectations. Obviously Steve enjoys doing what he does and is proud of it. He should be."

"Lee installed drywall in an external shed and did an excptional job. He is professional, easy to wok with, and completed the work when he promised. His drywall work is the best I have personally seen and is better than in my house. He obviously is skilled in his trade and does the best possible job. I had some difficult small windows that he made look great. I would highly recommend him for any drywall work."

"We had several small drywall cracks that needed repair, and our pull-down attic ladder had a bad hinge.  Walt and Tammy were prompt and responsive to these issues, and they also took care of a couple of additional drywall repairs without changing the estimate.  The attic ladder was an unusual repair, as it involved modifying a poorly assembled lower segment, but Walt was able to correct this without issue.  In addition, Tammy noticed some cracked caulking in our bathroom by the tub, which she also repaired for no additional charge.
Overall, we are satisfied with the work done, and we will definitely use the service again for handyman needs."

"We have used Classic Pro Contractors in the past and will continue to have David and his crew be our number one company to call with a painting and/or repair need. He got the work done on time, did a great job, and stayed in communication with us the whole time. He is definitely a person we will continue to use.

FAQs for plaster repair projects in Marylhurst, OR

Yes, crumbling plaster poses a safety hazard. Crumbling plaster overhead can drop heavy pieces that injure anyone below. The risk increases if the material contains older additives, such as asbestos or lead-based paint, which can become airborne when the surface is disturbed. Have a qualified pro test and repair deteriorating areas quickly to keep your family—and pets—safe.

Ceiling plaster repairs require a lighter touch than wall repairs. Plaster repair professionals apply thinner coats of plaster to ceilings to reduce weight and smooth the surface, which helps prevent future sagging. Wall repairs can handle extra texture and additional layers without risking structural strain. A plaster repair pro will have the expertise to determine the best technique for your problem area.
