"We contacted David with Gold Tooth to cut down a large way overgrown Hemlock tree. We also had a tall (very dead) Cedar tree that was in a very precarious location because of it's proximity to 3 other houses, ours and 2 of our neighbors, we also had his crew take down a tall and overgrown Laurel hedge. We went with Gold Tooth out of the 3 bids we had received not only because they were very competitively priced, mainly because of David's confidence in taking on this project! We had had other contractor's pass on this job or give such an exorbitant quote because of the difficulty and dangerous nature of cutting down the Cedar tree. They were finished in 1 day, cleaned up professionally and did a superb job, far exceeding our expectations! We are very pleased with the results and we love having our backyard back and no longer have to worry about that dead Cedar tree falling over in a wind storm."

"Excellent service. The pruning of the 2nd oak tree and the Hawthorne tree was done one day, and all other work done the next day. The 4-person crew was very professional, kind, and respectful of the property. The large oak I had removed was right up against a new fence, and not far from the side of my house. And, it was not in an area to get a bucket truck nearby. They arrived right on time at the start of the day and worked hard with minimal breaks - very impressive. They ground the stump from the large oak as well as grinding a couple of leftover stumps from previously removed holly trees. Their cleanup was superb! They even blew stuff off the top of my roof! And the wood cut down was nicely rolled together - not just dumped into a large messy clump! And, they were cheaper than another bid I got from a company here on Angie. I cannot recommend them high enough."

"Excellent response for consultation! Very professional and courteous. Did a great job trimming the trees, but there was a total disconnect between my expectations on the tree removal and what I actually received! They merely cut the two trees off at the ground, which was something I could have done myself!! When questioned about the "removal" part, the response was, "this is how we always do it", which did nothing for me! During the consultation we had discussed that I wanted to replace the two trees that were to be removed with new trees and the consultant had been so kind as to refer me to a landscape company that could assist with making a better selection for the location. So, how do you replace a tree with the stump and the roots still in the ground?? Guess this was just an educational experience for me - to ask for better definition of what "removing" a tree means before actually having the work done!! And they advertise that they do tree "removal". Just wonder if that ever really means R E M O V A L!! I really liked these guys, so I am sad to have had such a poor experience!!"

"I?m incredibly disappointed with the work that was done at my property. Mine was a clear case of underbidding and miscommunications. The good: nice people and they did do a lot of work. Just not everything they bid on. Bad: the front yard of my house looks worse. We knew we were being fit in but they seemed to be in a hurry. They focused on one aspect. Overcharged a known addition to compensate for under bidding and still didn?t do the clear away that they were supposed to do. If his tractor couldn?t do the work he just didn?t do it. They were supposed to clear back an entire field and he stopped half way and said he was done and then he left the downed brush despite an email I had stating they would remove or burn the brush as their costs. When we pointed out the miscommunication it ?was what it was?. We spoke many times about what we wanted done - it shouldn?t have been a suprise. Again they did a lot of work but I?m upset they didn?t fulfill the terms. Would not recommend. "
