"Fence Haven did a fabulous job installing our fence. Their communication was extort start to finish, and the individuals who performed the work were kind and helpful. They worked extra hard to beat the incoming inclement weather. Best of all, we’re getting tons of compliments!"

"Hired for 2 jobs. They are very nice, but they do not know what they are doing and they do not complete the work that they contract. Didn't nail down Advantech subfloor to joist correctly (literally missed the joist in several places), and it makes creaking and popping noises. Broke our floor joist by trying to jack up entire house with bottle jack instead of using the sister boards we gave them to level the floor. Contracted for dry wall skim coat on two rooms ceiling job. Only skim coated one room and partially patched (there were screw heads not covered and corners not done) and they did not skim coat the other room. The skim coat was uneven and left multiple large lumps and divits. I sent pictures of problems. They said pay now and call them back after it was painted. Paint did not hide corner cracks, unsealed drywall tape, unsanded lumps, etc. Had to hire another company to do the job correctly. So we paid double for the job. "

Small jobs welcome

"He replaced my bathroom floor. The work was tidy with minimal dust. He is knowledgeable, offering helpful suggestions. While he cut in the sink drain nicely, I realized later that a leak in the sink would accumulate in the well formed there. He offered to return if I had issues and now I think it would have been appropriate."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Maryville, TN

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
