"Mr. Valasquez gave a quote on installing a complete lawn irrigation system with a rain detector. We hired his company. They did a fantastic job. The job was completed in a timely manner. It is great, not to have to haul the garden hose around the lawn, to water. We highly recommend Valasquez Landscape and give them 5 stars."

"I hired Alfredo, owner, to build four different projects at my home in 2022 and 2023. They included a 30x40 ft paver patio with natural gas firepit complete with semicircular bench seating with backrest, a natural gas built-in stainless steel 36 inch BBQ grill, a 14-foot tall brick wood burning fireplace, with an 8-foot long granite counter with underneath stainless steel storage areas on either side of the fireplace, a 4-ft wide stone waterfall feature, additional brick bench seating around the patio area, over 300 linear feet of Paver pathways 5-feet wide around the sides of the house connecting to the patio, a 50-foot long natural stream with multiple cascading waterfalls, a 150+ foot long brick retaining wall and over 300 linear feet of 3-foot wide edging on both sides of my asphalt driveway. Alfredo and his crew did an outstanding job on every project - all ahead of schedule and on budget. I love my new outdoor entertainment area!!! He is a hands-on owner and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him and I have several additional projects planned for this coming season. Book him early - he is in high demand!"

"I couldn't get a quote from this company of how much the project would cost. We met with Colorado Turfin (who I found through HomeAdvisor too) and he was so much more professional."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Matheson, CO

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
