"These are great workers, which are hard to find. Very satisfied with their work, but moreover, they are professional. They respond to calls, show up when they say they will, and complete their work on time or earlier. And the price was on the low end of bids. I can't ask for more in this world of poor service from contractors. These guys are at the top"

"John was very good at keeping us informed and showed up when promised. He was very helpful with deciding what was attractive and practical plan for our sunroom. They installed the underlayment and tile, being careful about any mess and or damage to walls, then reinstalled the wood trim and thoroughly cleaned up the work areas. The work was completed when promise. <br />"

"The garage plans actually called for a "notch" in the frost wall to hold the slab and MSH suggested a better method by increasing the size of the frost wall from the recommended 6-inches to 8-inches. This was a great suggestion that allows the slab to sit on top of the wall and will hold up better in the long run...not sure how many other contractors in the area would have taken on this difficult plan, let alone make suggestions to improve the integrity. The MSH crew is very professional and spent a great deal of time to do the job right. My only complaint with MSH is that they don't always get back to you in a timely manner, but that is a small price to pay for quality work at a fair price. <br /> <br />"

"Joe came over and looked at it and I had a written estimate in 1 day.  The work was performed the next day.  Excellent service and the work was done beautifully.  I did not care for the color of a few stones and they replaced them without any argument even though the job was completely done.  I would highly recommend Turcios Landscaping for their service and quality of work."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Mauston, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
