"Ricky can do it all! He put up new walls to create an office and master closet (including all electrical/lighting in connection with each as well as internet in the office and custom racks and shelving in the closet). He planned and installed all of our outdoor landscape and flood lighting (which has completely transformed the usability and aesthetic of the backyard). He removed the existing in-ground basketball hoop and installed a brand new heavy duty hoop in its place (including engineered rebar/concrete work in connection with same). He has also helped with various electrical, plumbing, drywall, dry rot, water damage, replaced/upgraded appliances. He is a one-stop shop, is reliable, honest, trustworthy and hard-working. Cannot recommend him or his work enough!"

Arno listened in detail to our wishes, make recommendations and came up with a great design for a large entertainment center covering a 17 ft wall in our family room that reflected our ideas. He was also very helpful in selecting the right wood, stain color and door styles to fit the look we were going for. His cabinets automatically come with soft close etc., so there is no upselling from the quoted price. The installation, which he did with one employee, was smooth and swift. Arno was the 5th company we had asked to quote the project and we immediately liked him much better than the other contractors (much friendlier and better at listening to our wishes), so we were really excited when he also quoted us the best price!! "My garage door was behaving erratically when I attempted to close it -- to the point where I had to manually assist' in the closing of the door.  Obviously, I needed to have it serviced.  I went to my 'go-to' site for a referral and discovered ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS on Angie's List.  The technician, David, arrived shortly after the scheduled time and proceeded to inspect the door.  He swapped out the door rollers and even added addtitional brackets to better support the door rails. Before he left, he did additional little things to ensure a quieter garage door operation, as well as giving me tips on future maintenance.  Overall, a dream experience!  My garage door now works like it did on it's initial installation some 10 years ago.  Thanks David and thanks ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS !!

"Tom and Steve are fantastic to work with. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. When I first met with Tom to start discussing plans I had several ideas and he was very honest about how far my budget would go and what I could actually do to maximize space. During demo they were always very prompt and kept the work site clean. They replaced all of my old plumbing, and because I discussed what I wanted to do with the kitchen they ran plumbing to where I want to move my fridge in the future. They also discovered many issues with the existing wiring, which they replaced and also explained very clearly what the issues meant and how they were going to fix it. I had a steam shower installed and used tile to do a wainscoting in both bathrooms. They did a wonderful job tiling, especially since it is an older home and they were single lay 3x5 tiles. Also the bull nose tiles I purchased wouldn't work and they came up with a solution on the fly that I absolutely love. They were also very good about responding promptly to questions. I would absolutely recommend you work with these guys they did a fantastic job and I will definitely work with them again.

"Do make sure you and your contractor understand each other and explain exactly what you need and want.  Most often
old homes will have problems with dry rot, termites, old electrical and a good contractor lets you know you have these problems and will give you an estimate of what it will cost to fix them.  My opinion is if you are going to have a job done you should not mask problems.  We were fortunate not to have had dry rot.  The bones of our house was in very good condition.  However, our electrical panel was going to need replacing.  If you have your home already open to reside or whatever you are doing the extra time and cost is worth it.
