"Elliot and his crew showed up as scheduled. They had some difficulties with the old slab being so porous, but worked through the day to get it right. The color came out great, but the gloss layer did not last. After discussing this with Elliot, he stated it was most likely due to the very old and porous slab. Elliot and his crew came back to the house, re sanded the floor and put a thin top layer on the slab. He stained and sealed the floor with a high gloss finish. He did all this at no cost to me and the final product came out great."

"Mel Brown, the owner, called the day before to let us know that barring an unexpected rain storm, they would be installing the patio on Thursday.  The crew was working two jobs on Thursday and rotated between the two locations.  They started a little after 8 o'clock and took down a section of landscaping logs for the tractor to enter the property.  They reviewed the job request with us and informed us how they would be doing the job. They ask if we wanted the dirt being removed or if we wanted them to haul it away.    They framed the site and the cement truck came about mid-afternoon and they placed the cement in the frame.  They made the walkway from the back step to the patio a little wider  at my request quickly.  They finished smoothing the concrete about 5:30, did a little clearing up of the area and returned on Friday to complete cleanup and to replace the landscaping logs.  Despite the heat and humidity of the 90+ day and the difficulty of a steeply sloped work site, everyone worked quickly, quietly, and focused on the job.  The teamed worked well together.
