"First of all, I want to extend a <strong>profound</strong> apology to JEFF SANDERS, Pres. /DELTA TRANSFER MOVING SERVICES, operating out of Delta-Colorado. This report is embarrassing long overdue, in view of the <em>EXCELLENT</em> service provided by his two movers, AUNDRAKE EDWARDS and JOHN CHAPMAN..., both long-time employees of DELTA TRANSFER. The two men showed up on time, and prepared. <br /> I honestly hope the following report to Jeff, gives a sufficient evaluation of how I felt with your two excellent workers, as I had stated when we last spoke, over one-month ago. <br /> After watching Aundrake and John work, I could see why they would be under the category of and quot;long-time employeesand quot;. Polite, organized without wasting time and/or effort. Total teamwork between the two of them. Thanks Mr. Sanders!!!! <br /> Secondly, this was my <strong>FIRST</strong> time using ANGIE'S LIST services. What a great concept. So much less nerve-wracking..., being able to read the previous evaluations of earlier users, before making a selection. Much more appealing, versus picking a name out of a phone book, or throwing a dart at options on the various websites. <br /> Probably just as good as getting a referral from a best friend that has used someone in the past. In all honesty, if ANGIE'S LIST had an <strong>A+</strong> rating option, for and quot; <em>OVERALL Experience</em>and quot;, for DELTA..., I would click on it in a New York second. <br /> Unexpectedly, I had to ride my heavy motorcycle from St. Louis to Colorado, with a plan to load the bike in the rear of the truck (after everything else was secured), then return to Missouri, in two days. For that, I needed professional assistance to load the truck for the return haul. I'm not the best when it comes to strategic placement of some of those oddball pieces we tend to collect during our lives. The motorcycle proved to be the most challenging loading task..., as the floor of these newer rental trucks are sometimes made of aluminum deck plates. Almost impossible to find sufficient attach points for the tie-down straps. Aundrake and John pulled it off successfully, using cross-bracing strategy; chocking with blankets and heavier boxes, etc., while using the truck's internal bumper strips on the side walls. <br /> Additionally, and thankfully to Aundrakes quick response, followed by John, they intervened during a loading mishap (an oversight of the owner, me) that could have proven injurious, in addition to causing significant damage to the paintwork on my cycle. (Many thanks, to the two of them! and quot;You Be The Manand quot;!!) <br /> Since my possessions were stored in two separate lockers for over 7-years, it potentially posed more of a loading problem, as Aundrake and John didn't know what the contents were in the long stored boxes. Albeit, it didn't take them long to take charge of the situation and quickly start to empty those dusty lockers. These two men didn't bat-an-eye with the task at hand. In short order, they were soon in control of emptying out the largest locker and putting the jigsaw of boxes into space-saving positions. A large majority of the items and boxes were so well placed in the truck, it would have been difficult to place your hand between items. A virtually non-existent chance for movement or shifting. Even my sons commented about this, during the unloading in Missouri. <br /> I would hire these men again, and recommend them in a heartbeat. I truly want to express my sincere gratitude in the way Aundrake and John helped me with this dreaded and unwanted move, and the fact that none of my items were scratched, marred, or damaged in any way whatsoever. Every thing was well secured for the 1200-mile trip. Nothing shifted, and my motorcycle was still upright and hadn't budged one inch during the long trek through the mountains and curves. "Grant and his team did a great job.  Reece and Justin were the two who did the actual install/repair/re-installation of the flooring with Grant's oversight.  Grant was punctual with his timing on his estimate and the actual cost was what was agreed upon for the job. Reece and Justin did a terrific job with the actual installation and went above and beyond in many facets to make sure that the work was satisfactory based on our desires.  There were a few unexpected challenges during the job and rather than take the easy way out and just try to "make it work" they took the time to do it right the first time.  Justin and Reece's craftsmanship was top notch with regard to the installation of the laminate floor with good attention to detail so that the seams looked appropriate and the lines were straight.  Overall we are very pleased with the work and would recommend Good Hands to all of our friends and neighbors."
