Working hands-on with the land taught me patience, respect for natural cycles, and the art of coaxing the best from soil, sun, and water.Alongside olive farming, I supervised a plant nursery, growing a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamentals. This gave me extensive experience in plant propagation, soil health, pest and disease management, and selecting the right species for specific climates and conditions. My nursery work deepened my knowledge of horticulture—from native Croatian flora to hardy, drought-tolerant varieties that thrive in challenging environments.
