"Mike from MFS Masonry has an excellent staff. Very professional, excellent workmanship. I couldn't be happier. Mike stopped by from time to time but his crew didn't need to be monitored. They are hardworking and punctual. My patio, sidewalks and stairs are beautiful. Everything in the work area was put back to rights, grass seed was applied, even mulch. No small item was left undone. If I need more work like this in the future, that is the company I will hire. Another impressing note, when Mike first came to give me an estimate, he had samples of the pavers in his truck. I didn't have to look at a book and try to imagine it. I could see the items. And once he listened to what I was interested in doing he provided me with suggestions based on his experience. Win-win."

Management kept in touch with me the whole time to keep me updated on when the job would be started and if the crew would not be coming due to the weather. All work was done the way we wanted and at the price agreed before the start of work. The management was very easy to work with and very helpful! The cleanup was quick with new grass planted wherever they had to dig for the work."

"Anton and his crew are the greatest! We truly enjoyed working with them, Anton is extremely responsive, extremely dedicated, and most importantly, a true artist/artisan. We asked him to use only reclaimed wood and the most environmentally sustainable materials. He researched the best environmentally sound ways to insulate our house (using stone wool and alternatives to Tyvek, which we did not want to use because it's from DuPont) and he made numerous trips farther upstate from our Mid-Hudson house to locate the perfect reclaimed wood at old barns that were being torn down and resold as reclaimed wood. He gut renovated our really skanky old house into a magnificent jewel of post and beam construction to the point that peoples' jaws drop when they walk in."

The crew noticed a rotten tree trunk had caused the corner of the patio to sink - so they repaired it without us even asking them to do so. Now that’s SERVICE! Oh yeah, one of the workers was also kind enough to carry a 40 lb bag of dog food up the driveway to the front porch- better service than the delivery guy! "Cappella Landscaping responded to my wifeâ s and my search for a contractor to replace our deteriorated patio. The patio that we replaced was built 10 years ago and held up well for about five years, but then started to degrade at a progressively increasing rate. My wife and I were novices in this original undertaking, and it cost us. We learned that the base that the patio was built on was inadequate, and the pitch was too steep, among other things. When we first met Robert Cappella, he struck us as a true professional. He was very technically knowledgeable and told us about many things to be considered that we were not aware of. He spoke in detail about why certain things were important, including the use of high-quality materials. He seemed to be on a clearly higher level than the other contractors that we received quotes from. His quote on the job was higher than the other contractors, but our interaction with him gave us the confidence that he would produce a superior outcome. After we engaged Robert for our project, he helped usher us through the approval process that is required in our community. And when the work commenced, he brought a very capable crew of 4 to work on the building of the new patio. The project took 4 days to complete, with Robert himself working and supervising on site for most of that time. We were impressed by what we saw as the work progressed. When the work was completed, we were very happy with our beautiful new patio. Robert followed through with all of the little things that he said he would do. Robert is very gregarious and seems to love his work. As I mentioned earlier, he was more expensive than his competition, but we strongly feel that we received better value per dollar spent. We are happy with the end result and wouldnâ t hesitate to go with Robert again."
