We have hired Drew to do a variety of jobs, large and small, inside and outside, over a period of almost ten years, and he does not disappoint. He has done plumbing and electrical work, painting, patio-screen and wooden frame replacement, deck-staining, installation of fixtures, fans and outdoor railings, construction of a very large closet, and various types of repair work around our home, e.g. plaster, house wooden trim, doors, chairs, tables, etc. We appreciate not only his skill level and breadth of knowledge, but that he is professional, respectful, prompt, a really good communicator and honest, i.e. has qualities and character that are not easy to find these days, but are very important to us. We solicited multiple quotes from various deck builders, but Building Character won our business because of their product offering, extensive planning and design service, their competitive pricing, and their personal touch. We had a fairly large deck that spanned the entire house and we wanted a new elevated deck of similar dimensions, using composite decking, metal railing, and a new frame. We are thrilled with the results! They just completed the work this week and the deck looks amazing. Tim and his crew were the friendliest guys and worked diligently, even in some harsh heat/humidity. The crew was very receptive to questions about what they were doing and sought our input if they needed to alter plans.
