"Jeff and his crew did twice the usual work required to remove the pool from my yard since it was previously filled in without busting out the bottom. Over time, the pool area became a swamp, so the guys came in and dug out the pool, hauled away the dirt and debris that couldn't be re-used as fill, busted out the bottom of the pool, tore down the sidewalls about 24", removed a retaining wall, brought in new dirt to fill the area, graded my whole yard, and laid sod. Goodbye mosquito sanctuary! Now to the stuff that you are really interested in...My experience with Jeff and his crew was nothing short of pleasant. I found everyone in his crew was friendly, respectful, and had great work ethic. The most valuable thing, though, was the peace-of-mind I had about inviting strangers into my back yard...which was a concern of my wife's. "They did excellent work and did a great job according to our requests. They were very professional. The only thing was he did have a painter who was working for him who charged $500 to paint our kitchen island and they said it could not be matched. We had another painter guy who went to a different paint company and he was able to match it exactly and only charged us $200. Other than that, they were very good and we would use them again."

"Storey's crew replaced my driveway three months ago. Ever since, I have been trying to get Chris to have someone reset my brick flower bed border (with mortar) that his Bobcat operator dislodged in a few places while removing the old concrete. Pros: nice finished product (driveway, that is), proper slope for drainage. Cons: crew entered my garage and helped themselves to my shovel, push broom, rake, etc. and did not clean the concrete off of them at the end of the day. Crew also destroyed flower beds, left excess concrete in the yard, did not restore a lot of the existing sod, and splattered concrete on my garage door without cleaning it up. The also did not level the large paving blocks they moved near my gate. I had hoped that, at the price I paid, everything would be put back as it had been and that the crew would have been outfitted with all the tools they need. But, mostly, I am really disappointed by Chris' failure to live up to his promises to fix what his crew broke. I cannot recommend Storey Concrete."
