One of the glass windows accidentally got cracked during manipulation (stuff happens!) but, more importantly, he ensured that the new glass window was the same design and was reasonably priced (we split the cost). The 1st window maker he contracted this work out to delivered a window with the wrong design, so Rolando on his own accord identified another maker and got the correct design made. "I cannot say enough about Hortensia. I called well in advance to make an appointment, and despite 8" of snow the night before, they still arrived within 5 minutes of the appointment time. We had arranged for three people for two hours. I was quoted $180 for this which is less than what is shown on the website. We had not had our house professionally cleaned in quite some time, and I told the office that we would be willing to pay for more time. They did stay for three hours in the end and we were told it would be $65 for the extra hour which was fine. As for the service, we are more than happy. Everything is very clean, and they did things we did not expect like clean the inside of our windows. We were unable to remove some things, but they moved things and cleaned under and replaced the items where they were. We had put some items on bed to clear up surfaces, and they actually took those items off beds, made the beds and then put them back. Everything looks beautiful. They even made beautiful roses out of the tissues on the top of our tissue boxes. Nice touch! I would absolutely recommend this service for anyone looking for professional house cleaning."

"From the initial cleaning and safety inspection of my chimney, to the two days of major repairs, Flue Tech was professional, competent, caring and amazingly efficient. Their years of experience and Angie’s list ratings made me confident in contacting them and that confidence turned to trust as a result of their first visit to my home and subsequent work. Mike and Dave arrived at my home at the scheduled time and proceeded to clean and inspect my chimney. Following a lengthy and illustrated (pictures were taken) inspection, Mike discussed his findings and outlined options, seeking to contain cost without sacrificing quality or safety. Agreeing on a course of action, with an itemized list of steps and cost to remedy the situation, I scheduled the work. Kevin and Dan (the work team) arrived at my home and made sure I understood every aspect of what they would be doing over the two day period. They treated my home as if it was theirs, carefully covering and taping all areas in the vicinity of the fireplace and, when entering my den from outside, used shoe covers to avoid tracking in any debris. I watched as they patiently and professionally worked on the chimney in oppressively hot weather conditions. They were totally focused on the work making sure each task was completed according to plan and always going the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Their cleanup was extremely thorough and before leaving Kevin provided pictures of the completed work and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He told me to contact them should any issues arise. It was a true pleasure working with these two professionals. Flue Tech is now my “go to” company for all chimney related work and I give them my highest recommendation."
