"AMECAC did an excellent job. First came with catalogs and 100’s of personal pics of his work. Pedro and his son were on time and completely the job as promised. Highly recommend them!! Will definitely have them back for some other work very shortly."

"This was our third quote and came right in the middle of the other two quotes. We liked how Matt described his ideas for the project. After we got the quote for the patio and discussed, we asked Matt if he would use some of the old brick to create a pathway from the front gate to the back gate of our yard, it was a mud trench from the wheelbarrow and dog. It was reasonably priced, so we added it onto our project. We had a fantastic experience working with Matt and his team. They finished our patio and pathway project in five days. Installed a new, larger patio to replace our aging and sinking one. We used brick for the main patio area and blue stone for the steps and border. We reused the brick from the patio to make the pathway. The spare bricks from our old patio were stacked for us to use at a later date. Whenever I had a question, Matt took the time to answer quickly and to my satisfaction. It was a pleasure working with him and we would definitely work with him in the future should we have additional projects for our landscape. I would recommend Amazing Tree Landscape Artists to anyone looking to spruce up the landscape of their home. No photos right now - waiting for our siding project to be completed next month."

"They had a landscaping architect that came out and he worked with me as far as price, such as what would run me less if I did it this way, and they did a really great job.  They gave me like a 4-year warranty on the patio itself, from sinking.  They're very professional and so they did an extremely good job.  They're really good.  They're very clean, and not a problem at all.  Everything was good."

"After receiving my quote, I contacted Henry and informed him that his quote was quite expensive from the previous year and if there was anything he could do in regards to the price. He asked me what I paid the previous year and said that he could do it for did the same price. I agreed and had the paver repair remove from my estimate because the previous designer had done the minor repairs for free as a courteous. The day of the job, the crew arrived on time and went right to work. The crew was very professional, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. They performed tall the work and cleaned up after the work was done. After they left I noticed that one of the crew broke one of my landscape lights so I called SLS and they said they will have someone out to inspect and repair the next day. After a week, I called and told them that the light had not been repaired. After speaking with someone in the office, a repair date was scheduled and the repair was completed. During the whole time getting the repair scheduled and completed, they were courteous and apologetic for the damage to my landscape light. My wife and I were very satisfied with the job and repair. Although their prices are pricey, you get a job well done."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Millville, NJ

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
