I feel like some contractors can be alarmist and exaggerate the complexity of a project (and I've had inflated quotes as a result), but Nick was very approachable, level-headed, and took the time to explain things in a way that I could understand.  I did obtain quotes from 2 other contractors for this project, but I just felt at ease with Nick -- both in terms of having him in my home for a few hours and in terms of his expertise. It took 2-3 weeks to receive his quote -- a bit longer than the other 2 contractors' quotes -- but I was glad that I waited it out. Not only did I have the best impression of Nick initially, but his quote had a slight edge over the competition. Once the quote was in-hand, it was relatively quick and easy to schedule the actual date of service. He arrived with his partner exactly at the planned time. They were a dream team, and finished the project in 3 hours. They left our house cleaner than they found it, and I was surprised at how great the ceiling looked after their work was complete -- literally no damage. "I contacted Frank for some light electrical needs as my light fixtures on my detached garage haven't worked in quite some time. Frank did a walkthrough and noted the previous owner either wired the garage him/herself or hired an amateur and due to safety issues the whole garage had to be re-wired. "Frank fixed a faulty outlet in our laundry room in the recent past. He went out of his way for that small job and we really appreciated it. So, when our lights were flickering and some decided to stop working, he was the first person we thought of to call. He took a few minutes to discuss on the phone the problems we were encountering and offered some suggestions. We were at work trying to address the problem. Frank came by the house within 15 minutes of our conversation to check out the issue, luckily other family was home. Long story short, the electricity problem was an outside line power company issue. Frank made the call to the power company and the issues with electricity in our home were resolved later that morning. Frank is trustworthy and does right by his clients. Others might not have been so honest when figuring out the electricity issues. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He is on our speed-dial for all of our electrical concerns and needs."
