"This company did a wonderful job on the pavers for the patio. It seem to be a difficult job due to the slope we have in the back yard. They executed the job great. We are very happy with the results. I would recommend them to my family and friends any day."

"At initial contact, he would not even consider bidding on the job if it was estimated to be under $10,000.00. He did call back after I got my first bid and , promptly, came out to assess the project. He was very considerate, professional and explained in detail what he proposed to do. However, I did not choose him for our hardscaping project since his bid was significantly higher than the others. <br />"

"Mark was excellent to work with from beginning to end. As someone who had no clue about what needed to be done or not, I felt that Mark was only quoting the appropriate work and not trying to oversell. Mark was quick to address any questions or concerns during and after the job. Once everything was completed, there was some concern that part of the yard would have an issue with water due to sloping. Not only did Mark agree an additional small retaining wall was needed, but he didn't charge for the extra work (and as the owner was even one of the two people who fixed the issue). He recently came back for a small job on some fencing and as usual went above an beyond. It's nice to see someone stand by their work and product and I wouldn't hesitate to call him in the future for any additional jobs. Thanks Mark!"

"This company from the front desk to the guys who loaded our vehicle were excellent to work with. They were very accommodating on our tight time crunch and the price was fabulous! Easy to work with; very interested in making sure we had the right product for our landscape; very informative; gave excellent tips and education to help us be as successful as we could be. We have already recommended them to several of our neighbors and family and plan to use them again. Wonderful experience."

"It was pouring rain, and they continued to work, and they cleaned everything up. I felt bad for them because it was just pouring. They had started cutting the tree down, and it wasn't raining, but by the time they got to cleaning up, it was raining. I am going to use them again after Thanks Givng because I have 3 more trees to bring down. They were great."

"Initially we picked out three trees from their lot and had them installed.  They completed the job promptly and at a competitive price.  They discount their plants and trees in the fall so we received a significant price break.  The tree install went well with no harm done to my yard and grass despite need for heavy equipment .  It's been a few months and the trees continue to look strong and healthy. <br /> We soon afterward used them for a second project in the same yard.  To complete the landscaping we asking them to make a design, then we'd buy, transport and install the plants ourselves.  They call this the "we plan, you plant" project and their designers were available any time.  We brought in a survey with dimensions/layout of our backyard as well as a number of pictures.  The designer drew a plan on the spot (while discussing our ideas & goals), took us around the nursery to select plants, and we took a truck load home that day.  The results, after following their plan, was quite good.  We saved a lot of money using this processes over hiring a professional to do everything and were very satisfied.  One plant seemed to dry out quickly (of the 30 or so we bought) but with extra watering I'm hopeful it will pull through.  We also bought 4 yards of hardwood mulch from them.  Transported it ourselves. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Montague, MI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
