"Excellent job over several weeks. Consistently on time, efficient and fast, always cooperative and pleasant to work with. Various size crews from one to three depending upon the job to be done. We had extensive needed work done. We feel the cost was reasonable though fairly expensive at a total of $9,800 plus $39 for the initial inspection. We have a single story, 2,500 sq. ft. house with attached garage and rear separate patio enclosure. First, a licensed inspector went over the exterior, the interior, the huge unimproved attic, the garage interior and separate patio enclosure. He provided us with a detailed plan view identifying the many visual and suspected locations of both subterranean and drywood termites as well as dry rot. Two different kinds of environmentally approved chemical treatment were used for the two types of termites. They treated all around the outside of the house by boring holes every 12 inches through the concrete slab and inside through the wall and windowsill to inject for subterraneans, sprayed for drywood termites in attic, garage inside and all exterior fascias/shiplap/corbels along with patio wood posts. Cost $3,200. Two year warranty. In the attic they cleaned out all insulation along with field rat droppings, vacuumed, treated rafters for drywood termites, spray sanitized, closed some air duct open spots, checked for and sealed rat access point, re-installed new higher rated insulation (R38), set rat traps which were inspected several times over about three weeks & no rats found. Cost $4,800. They removed and replaced damaged wood members, splicing in new wood or filling areas with minor damage with wood filler and prime painted these areas. Cost$1,800."

"We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. If you need deck work, I recommend hiring Michael and his team."

"Our hardwood floor was badly damaged due to a pipe leaking from the condo apartment above us. As soon as we called Hometown Restoration, they responded quickly and sent their experts to inspect the damage. With the help of the dryers, they begin the drying process quickly. After that, they removed the whole hardwood floor and cleaned up our entire apartment before departing. Hometown Restoration performed an excellent job on floor restoration. "I contacted them for a quote and they called me within 10 minutes. Explained what they would do and the cost. (I also had two other quotes, 1 company was a little more expensive, the other quoted long distance rate). We set the date and they explained the cancellation policy. They called the day before the move to re-confirm the time and asked if I had any questions. The next morning two young men, Jason and Serge, arrived on time. They were prompt, professional, hard workers and had a great sense of humor. We walked through the house so they would understand what was being moved. And then they started. They worked fast but were very careful in wrapping and organizing everything. Once loaded, we headed to the new place. Several items needed to be moved out to go to another location which they did very quickly. Then everything was unloaded, we headed to a second location to drop off items and pick one up to return to the condo. Everything was moved without a dent, nick, chip or any breakage. They arranged furniture for me and put together things they had taken apart. They did the complete job in just 5 hours. I would absolutely hire this company again. I was very pleased with them."
