I would normally have got 3 bids for something like this, but having it done the same day I called out-weighed maybe saving some money at the cost of missing more work. A large tree in the front yard broke a dozen feet off the ground, and fell onto another tree splitting it but remaining suspend in the air. I stayed home from work and called 3 top rated tree services from Angies List for bids. 2 were coming out later in the week, but Norbert from Good Morrow could be over in an hour. Price quoted seemed reasonable, but this was the first bid. Chatting, he mentioned there was a crew finishing up a job near by, and they could do everything today. I might have saved a couple hundred dollars with more bids. but the convenience of same-day service and not missing al least 3 more days of work sold me. Crew of six showed up at 3:15 in three trucks with 2 chippers, a bob-cat with a grapple, and a stump grinder. By 4:15 they were grinding stumps and were probably gone by 5:00. Wonderful to watch pros at work. Unfortunate the videos I shot on phone exceed the 10 MB GIF limit..."

"Rufus Garcia is the owner and he contacted me immediately. I needed one crepe myrtle tree removed that was too big and too close to my slab. I emailed him pictures and he also sent Mike out to look at the tree. Mike called me after checking the tree with his recommendations and I hired them that day to remove the tree. The crew came out the next day and when I got home from work, the only sign that I ever had a tree was the small stump that was extremely close to the ground. I appreciated Mike telling me that he would not recommend grinding due to the sprinkler system so close to the tree. The owner and his employees are very professional, polite and knowledgeable! "Chris has worked on my trees a couple of times now. He is very good about making the rounds to check in with his clients for any needs they may have. Trimmed up tree in front yard and 2 trees in backyard. I usually have a problem getting companies that will work on the trees because of location of power lines. Chris took the time to explain what he could do for the tree and what would have to be done by the power company. Returned to the house 3 days after the job to check and see if all was good. At that time I had noticed some limbs that needed to be cut back and he immediately got the equipment and completed it. This is the only tree company I would use.
