"Casella was one of several trash removal options in the area. We are a small family of 2 and don't generate a lot of trash, so we also considered other options including drop off trash stations that charge per bag. I chose their bi-weekly plan after calling for information and everyone I talked to was very helpful. It was a little more than the drop off option, but I chose convenience. <br /> Service is always prompt, and they send out a magnet with the every other weeks highlighted. They have single stream recycling which makes recycling SO much easier. You get one tote and everything recyclable goes into it. No need to sort glass, paper. plastic etc, since It is sorted at the facility. <br /> The place where this company has been outstanding is service. If a holiday falls on your pickup day, they call to tell/remind you of the schedule adjustment. One time, their truck broke down early in the day's route and they called to let us know that they didn't forget us, but would pick up the next day. Another time, I was out of town on trash day and I got a phone call making sure we were ok, and asking if there was any problem with us getting trash out. I thanked them and said that it was just us being away. <br /> Overall, I don't think I have had better trash service anyplace I have lived before. <br />"

"Bill Hayes showed up on time, preformed the work doing a super professional job and stuck to the quote even though the job took a little longer. He left the site clean and in a better condition than when he arrived. Bill Hayes was very experienced and efficiently and expertly operated his equipment in our tight back yard. We recommend him and would hire him back again. He is very talented and good at what he does, we were very lucky we hired him because he knew how to stabilize the bank. We had been looking for someone that knew how to do this but we're not convinced that just a retaining wall would work. Now our house is protected, our bank is stabilized with large boulders, our bank can now become be a beautiful rock garden this summer with plantings in between the puzzled together rocks. "We went with John as his bid was lower. He worked alone for most of the project which helped keep costs down. The project did take a long time as he was balancing snow removal with our renovation, but he did explain this before he started. He was very honest and had good ideas; we never thought he was deliberately running up the price or making the project more complex than it needed to be. He was willing to do a few other minor repairs around our home that were needed. He also removed all construction debris and was willing to economize when we asked him to. He also took care of our dog when he was working at the house. <br /> We highly recommend him. <br />"
