"These are great workers, which are hard to find. Very satisfied with their work, but moreover, they are professional. They respond to calls, show up when they say they will, and complete their work on time or earlier. And the price was on the low end of bids. I can't ask for more in this world of poor service from contractors. These guys are at the top"

"The owner, Bennett, was prompt with phone calls and provided an excellent estimate. Bennett was very respectful and came ready to work. Did not have to worry about clean up or damage. The guy knows how to drop a tree right where he wants it."

"Very satisfied with cost and workmanship.  Original contact was to repair wind damage on shingled roof.  Unlike other roofing contractors I contacted, the response was fast.  The 40 plus years of experience showed as the temporary repair was done immediately without any hassle of cost.  The cause of the wind damage was shown and explained as improper nailing of shingles. To my surprise it was suggested, that because of a current materials special, it would be more cost effective to install a new metal roof over the old shingles rather than replacing the old shingles.  A new metal roof, with all of its advantages, cheaper than new shingles!
I said I was interested, and they took a lot of measurements.  A couple days later I received an estimate via E-mail. I also asked about financing.  The only option was  like a credit card application (5% up front and high interest after 1 year).  After working out alternative financing from my bank, I then responded via E-mail to proceed.  They came out again and made more measurements. They wanted advanced payment for the materials with final payment upon completion.
A couple weeks later the new metal roof install began.  It was a three man crew, they worked professionally, took their time and did it right.  The weather caused multiple delays extending the work over about 3 weeks.  The new roof is impressive, several people stopped by to ask for name of contractor.

"We hired Greener Grass for lawn treatments in 2012. We had some problem areas in our lawn that were not addressed and treatments were applied on a 100 degree day during a very dry spell causing burned areas in our yard. We mentioned the problem areas on multiple occasions however they were not addressed. At the end of the summer we determined we would not rehire them the following year, but received a call that they had hired new technicians.

"I am very pleased . The price was alittle higher than another company, but the landscaping expert ( Eric) was easy to work with and was willing to work with my concepts.
The guys who came to do the work were very professional, and did a beautiful job. The second job I gave them, I was not happy with the appearance, and they came back, we discussed the affect I wanted, and they re-did it. The foreman even said it was fun doing something with alittle more artistic flare.
Be AWARE: There are two other landscaping companies in this same area that have the initials CCL. BOTH of them got bad reviews. THIS is not the same company.

"John was very good at keeping us informed and showed up when promised. He was very helpful with deciding what was attractive and practical plan for our sunroom. They installed the underlayment and tile, being careful about any mess and or damage to walls, then reinstalled the wood trim and thoroughly cleaned up the work areas. The work was completed when promise.

"From the minute he came to my house, Chris was nothing but professional and helpful. Very meticulous, worked as if it was his own home. His attention to detail and is perfectionism is apparent. Always prompt with returning phone calls and you can believe it when he says he will call or come over.
Nicest, most honest guy with the best work ethic of all my renovation projects. I continue to use Chris as I am now working on a mud room and fireplace project. I can't say enough good things about First Choice and Chris. Don't look any further, hire this guy!

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Montreal, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
