Uniquely our last name is Masoner, masonry has been in our family for generations. We normally would not use sub-contractors unless the job included a multitude of work where extra help may be needed in most cases no job is too big. Masoner and sons consists of a total of 5 employees, we are a family owned and operated business. Our rates are based on a competitive hourly rate for labor, materials are separate, in the cost of materials any trip charges to pick up supplies as well as required building permits will be added into the cost of materials. If our company and the prospective customer is in agreement on potientialy hiring Masoner and sons for their masonry or design needs a proposal is drawn up that is signed by the customer as well as our company that protects both our company and the the customer. There can be a fee for an estimate for large jobs and or a trip charge for out of a 25 mile radius. If our services are initiated the fee will be deducted off of the grand total. For small estimates there is no charge.(unless out of traveling radius). Award winning.

"The employees did an immaculate job. Joe Bear did amazing work and installed everything to the specs I wanted. Contractors cleaned up after themselves, there was no dirt or grime left around the work area nor carpet in the house, wouldn't even know they were there!"

"Green Men brought to life my dream of a home basement brewery done in a modern industrial style. The area was small at 400sf but had complexities. They eliminated the flex ductwork that was visible with metal. Ceiling and walls prepped and painted. Quite a fair amount of woodwork and sealing up from the outside elements. Farmhouse door installed to block off the furnace area. Eggcrates installed on ceiling. Added electrical and lights. Beyond happy with the results and process. Dan was a pleasure to work with and very helpful and the estimate was reasonable and we stayed on budget. Both Vic and Joe are true craftsmen and such a pleasure to work with also. The job was on time and with the highest quality. I also appreciated the recommendations they made along the way to tweak my design as it saved money and added value! I highly recommend Green Men. You will not be disappointed. I fully intend to use them in 4-5 years to build my garage."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Mooreland, IN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
