"Kenneth responded quickly by phone call. Came as he said he would with a $140 diagnostic fee. Quickly told me the pump was bad and showed the part needed from a distributor. Also sent me a picture with the part number. Was supposed to return with part and installation on 1/2/26 between 8-10 am. 10am no show. I called, was told part did not arrive to distributor. Ken eth said he was going to hickory NC to get part. It's now 6:30pm. No phone call no nothing. Pinned me down all day waiting. I basically paid $140 to be schooled. This man said he was a veteran, I thought that was pretty cool. I stayed home all day waiting for you. That wasn't cool. Sure hoped you served this country better than you served me."

"I requested a Pro through the Angi app to install a new garbage disposal in my kitchen. In my request, I clearly stated that I did not already have a disposal purchased and that I needed the Pro to provide the unit and complete the installation. I was matched with Jason from Hope Services LLC. We communicated through the app, and Jason sent me a contract (attached). Before agreeing, I confirmed with him that the quoted amount included the cost of the new garbage disposal, labor, and all related expenses. He confirmed that it did. Jason arrived on 12/29 without the garbage disposal he had agreed to provide. He inspected the existing unit even though I had already sent photos through the app and when he turned it on, it began leaking. I explained that the unit had been leaking for several weeks and that this was the reason I requested a full replacement. Jason then left to purchase the new disposal from Lowe s. While at the store, he called to tell me he would need to charge an additional $100 or more to complete the installation. When I asked why given that his original quote explicitly included the disposal and all costs he could not provide a clear explanation. He later admitted he may not have read the messages as well as he needed to and acknowledged that the misunderstanding was his fault, yet still insisted on increasing the price. Because the new price was higher than what he quoted and what I agreed to in writing, I told him I no longer wished to proceed. Jason then informed me that I still owed him a service fee, despite no work being performed and despite our agreement being for a replacement job, not a service call. He insisted I had no choice but to pay. While he was on his way back to my home, I contacted Angi customer service. I was advised that I had no obligation to pay, since he changed the terms of the contract after I accepted it. When Jason returned, he again demanded payment. Under pressure, I paid him via credit card. I am requesting that Angi review this situation, as the Pro changed the agreed-upon terms, failed to provide the service as contracted, and demanded payment for work that was not performed. I am seeking a refund of the amount paid."

At team Instyle you will not have to worry about a total "stranger" showing up at your door and being in your home because everyone here has worked for this company for at least the past 5 years and more. Instyle is also family and locally owned.

"Unprofessional! Use World Stone instead. Time from template to installation is longer than average. Vein matching quality was poor which generated multiple requests for template revision. The templates they provided for approval frequently had backward/upside-down pieces that required correction. Did not return phone calls/emails in a reasonable timeframe. Dented new vanity with installation. Did not use the sinks available as instructed during installation and did not include drill holes in templates, so they accidentally drilled 3 holes for each faucet instead on 1. When they had to correct this error by re-fabricating another slab, they created excessive construction delay by forcing me to re-template another virtually identical quartz slab. At the end of my project, I needed a 3” x 7” countertop side splash revised to a 3” x 11” piece due to a construction change. I tried to pay them to do this. They flat out refused and forced me to go to another fabricator, who was kind enough to generate this piece for me from a remnant for $37. I would not recommend this business!"
