"Garage door service kudos First and foremost, if you are looking for garage door service, repair or just a great guy to chat with, you need not look any further than Nathan Martin of Family Doors LLC. His business is so appropriately named as they do treat you as family. When I spoke with Nathan to describe my garage door maintenance issue that arose from another company ( a Groupon service voucher) I arranged to service my garage door, he was attentive, empathetic, described his tune up services in detail. My experience with this other company was very disappointing, especially when a homeowner expects to have the garage door springs inspected and tightened, if required. This other company wanted an additional $199 to tighten my springs. Yes, you read that correctly!!! Nathan was very understanding and accepted my request to evaluate our garage door functionality, and tighten the springs. Plus he was able to fit me in his schedule the next day. Upon his early arrival, he quickly saw the sub par efforts produced by the other company’s technician. He tighten not only the door springs but also the overhead door opener belt. He was done in 10 minutes! Fast, efficient, detail-oriented, very knowledgeable. When asked whether he took a check or credit card he answered, “no charge…you’ve already paid for a tune up “. I was pleasantly shocked yet I insisted I pay for his services. He said the only thing I ask that you provide and post a review. Nathan has earned my trust and business for as long as I need garage door maintenance, repairs or replacement from here on out!"

"Doing some minor renovations on the house and needed some switches and plugs moved or installed new as well as adding 220 plugs in the garage. The original estimate was done via email without seeing the actual property, so we requested an on-site better estimate. This took a bit longer than expected to schedule. Once Jason Rickel provided the estimate and locked in a date, he and another guy showed up on time and completed the work in a day. There was a slight issue with the agreed upon location of some new plugs but he soon returned to take care of it."

"<p>I called Saturday morning to see if I could get someone to fix the broken lock latch on the sliding screen door.  About an hour after I called, Chris came over.  He disassembled the mechanism but said he did not have a repalcement part and would have to order one.  About an hour later he came back and had fixed the spring in the mechanism.  He reinstalled the latch and it worked!  He saved us time and money and we did not have to worry about having an unlocked back door for a few days.  I felt he definitely went above and beyond to help us out.  He could have easily just ordered the part and replace it.  </p> It was an excellent experience.  I will definitely used Broadripple Lock Service again in the future. <br />"

"The home inspection was wonderful. Kathy went through every room and made suggestions for specific changes we could make or for products which would make the room safer. The rest of the process didn't go so well. Kent recommended many products which he could sell to us. He uses Kidco products. I found most of the products cheaper on the internet and at local stores. However, we went ahead and ordered some of the products from him and made arrangements to have them installed due to our own time constraints. The original installer didn't know how to install several gates and a cabinet lock. It took Kent and the installer 4 trips to install everything. One of the gates that was recommended & ordered we decided to change because we didn't want to drill into the wall. When the lazy susan lock was installed the wood was split inside the cabinet. I think Kent knows his products and childproofing very well. However, if you have the time and some handyman abilities it would be much cheaper to do it yourself. The $50 we spent on the initial visit was credited to our final bill. I would highly recommend that part of the service for new parents even if you don't order anything else. Kent did adjust the bill for the problems we had."

The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"Brandon came right on time the very next day after I called him. He was very professional and did a great job on our wooden screen door. He went above and beyond by putting a small round metal piece on the door opener at the top (not sure of correct name) which keeps the door open when needed. We would hire him again and highly recommend his services."
