He was prompt to come out and gave a very detailed estimate, breaking down materials and service. There was no doubt what was included in the quote. There were other firms that quoted the project at a lower price that did not get the job because their quote was too ambiguous. When it came to the installation, they were prompt, detailed and clean. Within three days they were complete. At the end of each workday the cleaned up and left the site presentable. We received great value and great service. "South gate built a fence for us 5-6 years ago and it was great. A contractor ran into our driveway gate this summer and smashed it. I hired South gate to replace the gate and the first gate they put up wouldn't open either way. No problem, I asked for a second gate, in the shape of a rectangle, like the first one, but they delivered a second remade gate with the same issue, and it only opens one way in the driveway. I have called many times asking the gate be sawed off at the bottom so that it can open both ways and no reply. Also the endcaps are missing from the gate, asked about that too but no reply."
