"The Romeros are fine people and try hard.  But they really didn't understand the roofing problem I gave to them to solve.  I didn't know how to solve it either.  When the roof started leaking soon after installation, they returned twice to put more sealant where they had failed to put it earlier.  But when it continued to leak, even though under "lifetime warranty" they would schedule appointments and not come.  Then came Hurricanes Rita and Gustav.  All of their equipment, etc, was blown away or washed out to sea.  I stopped calling them at their point.  This year I was able to find a roofer who knew what he was doing and he came and repaired the roof while leaving it in place.  He completed the job in April and we have had no leaks since that time.  I wouldn't use the Romeros to install a metal roof.  I might get them to do carpentry.  As I say, they are pleasant and honest but don't know when to say they aren't competent to perform what they have been asked to do."
