It took them about 1.5 hours to remove both problems. His crew worked steadily and well and displayed a caring about the way they left the property looking. I thought his price was fair considering the size of the plants he had to remove. I will look forward to working with him again when I decide to remake my back yard and other landscaping projects!

"Melvin did our landscaping, including the design, selection, and installation. Our original backyard was multi-tiered and not landscaped at all - most of the surface area was dirt that could not be planted. Urizar Landscaping as a team did an incredible job, not only clearing all the space and preparing the soil, but hand selecting plants (over 150) for the different areas of the yard, putting in a new lawn and building three raised garden beds in our backyard. We have continued to use them a few times a month for maintenance and replanting for the season."

The Job:

    Aeration:  Quick but thorough.  I've done my own aeration in the past so can assess job quality

    Fertilizer:  Applied fertilizer and pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide as part of the service

    Clean-up:  Thoroughly swept all areas around the lawn

    Knowledge:  Very knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding lawn and weed-related issues.  Had a number of valuable suggestions for how we could improve our lawn's soil condition and enhance water retention (water conservation)  

 

Price: 

    Very good.  $72 (including 10% Angie's discount) for approximately 2000 sq ft of lawn

"We need some clean up and new plantings for a few areas around our home and I found Bay Area landscaping. I was totally impressed and so I reached out to them and received a reply within an hour or so. They came over that afternoon and gave us a quote that was extremely fair for the work that we needed done.. They said they could do it the next day and we were thrilled! (They work as a team of five, owners included, and so the work is completed very quickly.)  As an aside, I needed to go to the MD that morning and would not be home until 11.  Denis assured me that he knew exactly what I wanted, and I need not worry.  You cannot imagine our delight when we returned home and saw that the projects were almost completed! This is for sure our new go-to landscaping company, and I would highly recommend that you consider them for any work you need done!"
