"Customer service issue - Company doesn't return phone calls or explain why a service that wasn't performed and was never billed, suddenly results in a single bill 90days past due; then won't return calls to ask for details and try to resolve. After repeated attempts to contact via phone, during their business hours - even went to their office in person to try to get details about this charge. Still no progress. Finally ended up paying the balance under protest just to put an end to the run around. Look elsewhere - lawn service received isn't worth the administrative issues experienced."

"Nate from Acer was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. <br>He met me at the property, and listened to what we needed to have done. The job was a single day job, and I was happy to find someone willing to find time to work a smallish job into their schedule during the busy summer season. <br>His crew arrived on the day promised, and cleaned out several neglected flower beds. They then dug 20 holes in what I would call inhospitable ground (many rocks and old roots), and set the dirt to the side. They then mulched the beds. Later in the week I planted the beds, using my "pre-dug" holes. <br>It was great to have the holes dug for me- it saved me tons of time and a definite backache.  <br>We will call Acer in the future, when we have a need for more outside work. Their prices are fair and the service is reliable. <br> <br>"

"Casey Miller is great to work with. He redesigned the deck to give us more usable space without increasing the footprint significantly. He priced out several options for decking/railing materials (treated wood, cedar, various composite materials) and gave me addresses of jobs he had done with a couple different composites so I could see how they looked in sizes larger than a 6-inch square sample and after they'd been weathering for a while. He pays attention to the smaller details (no butt joints on deck boards!) and makes sure the homeowner has input into decisions that other contractors might make on their own (i.e. do you want these adjacent posts side by side or diagonal? Do you want the downspout discharging this direction or that way?). <br /> The original deck had been fastened to our house improperly, with a horizontal support beam that channelled water into our home. Casey remedied this problem and coordinated with our siding contractor so that our siding job wasn't delayed and that the structural parts of the deck were integrated with the house's siding/trim with as clean a look as possible. <br />"

"We have lived in this house for 55 years. Neither one of us was ever into throwing things out. My husband was in the construction trades for 50 yrs, a master plumber and built houses on the side. We cleaned out 3 houses of relatives ourselves. There were tools from 2 generations of plumbers, "stuff" torn out of houses, pieces of pipe--everything from actual antiques to lots of trash. They came in, and in an afternoon cleaned out the areas I wanted cleaned. I will have them back for the packed-full garage and to move things from the house as well. <br />"
