"Our family interviewed a couple of contractors to help us remodel our guesthouse. From the start, Guy came with a professional and exciting energy that made us feel comfortable with going with Builderzz. Guy was upfront about what he thought was possible/safe and you knew he was paying attention because he never missed a detail! Although Builderzz was not the lowest quote, we appreciated the reasonable, itemized and thorough estimate! For this particular project, we had our guesthouse's kitchen, flooring, and bathroom redone. The remodel looks immaculate! The best part about working with Guy and Builderzz Remodeling was their dedication to quality and speed (it was not one or the other). I've worked with other contractors and they were NEVER on schedule. I was shocked at how quickly they moved through the house. However, I also really appreciated Guy's dedication to quality. Our piping was completely outdated and Guy automatically updated the piping because his team didn't feel comfortable with the old piping (I LOVE THAT!) On top of that, Guy was great about communicating timelines, expectations, and questions with me. I'm usually at work during business hours so Guy was great through e-mail and text which I really needed to complete this project. With any project there can always be hiccups. Guy and team never try to deflect blame or make excuses. I think this is extremely important and speaks volumes to their character. Guy always tries to make all things right. "Vacation Pools did an excellent job remodeling our pool and installing patio pavers a few years ago. We decided we wanted to extend the patio pavers further out into the grass where it didn't grow and had become muddy. David, our prior salesman, came to our house, listened to our ideas and took measurements. We also needed the pool water drained and some minor resealing done under the coping . A few days later, David sent us the estimate which we felt was reasonable. We accepted and a start date for the following week was set. <br /> The work took approximately 5 days. The workers came and went daily and hours of arrival and departure varied depending on the stage of the job. The workers did an excellent job overall and were all very friendly and polite. It was a bit of a mess in the yard when they quit for the night and made it hard for us to navigate the dogs outside to the grass in the dark through the sand and pieces of rocks and pavers strewn over the area. This is my only reason for giving them a and quot;Band quot; instead of and quot;Aand quot; for professionalism. If we didn't have animals, it would not have been a problem. <br /> As with most jobs, there are always a few things needing final adjustment at the end of the work. The landscaper came back and adjusted sprinklers plus added an extra head for coverage. The pool filler float required readjustment and the pool man came and took care of it. <br /> We would not hesitate to use Vacation Pools again in the future. <br />"

"Very well. immediate response from initial contact and an estimate was received. Adrian showed us our product options in the showroom. An estimate start date was given, they actually started ahead of time. The workers were on time everyday. Adrian or his brother were there every day on site answer any questions and to ensure the work was being done as contracted. Drop cloths were laid down each day to pick up roof debris and collected at the end of the day. There was minimal mess. Adrian was very helpful in answering all of our question and providing helpful ideas. I would definitely recommend So Cal Construction."

"Neal Burgess came over and planted 3 redwood trees for me on a Saturday.  One of his workmen planted two pepper trees on our hillside. The retaining wall went well.  I was disappointed they would not prune an oak tree but I was told they are not removing trees any longer."

We wanted the job done quickly so we can list the house for sale, and he rearranged his schedule to accommodate us. They were prompt, friendly, polite and took the time to make sure it was done right. The price was right around what we had already decided the job was worth to us. After meeting Bruce we decided that we wanted him to do our work and didn't get any other quotes. What was once an ugly, cracked patio is now a beautiful space that will look great to prospective buyers. And because it was done right, the new buyers should enjoy it for years without any problems.
