"I went through like 3 other chimney groups including Chimney Sweep Masters and they all gave me conflicting information. Emerald City Chimney on the other hand was honest and thoroughly dismantled all the b******* the others tried to sell me. That’s what happens when you actual experienced workers take the lead instead of salespeople. It took a while to figure out exactly what the best approach would be, but in the end I got a job done for like $650 when the others wanted like $3000. I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

"How did it go? Excellent! Jamie, the owner, was quick to respond to any and all inquires. Easy to reach, easy to get a hold of, both by e-mail and text. His team chief, Bob, clearly had years of experience! They were scheduled for 9 am and at 9 am, I looked outside to see the truck parked outside! Bob's experience came in handy when there were issues getting my sliding glass door into place, due to my residence being roughly 50 years old; which still had the the original, single pane, metal frame windows & slider door. If there were any issues with the same old type of windows which were replaced, I didn't know it because everything went so smoothly. Bob knew exactly how to quickly fix any issues, and his entire crew ran like a well oiled machine. The crew were extremely efficient. plus they went above and beyond; making sure the window glass and frames were cleaned and they vacuumed up the little bits of debris created when taking out the old metal framed windows and they took the old windows/door with them when they left for safe disposal. All the while never complaining about the pouring down rain! I would highly recommend this company, in short, for the excellent install , clean up and very fair pricing."

"Matt called back quickly and over the phone he gave me an estimate for the cost of rebuilding my house's chimney. I had sent a couple of photos of the chimney. As he was coming over to the area for another job, he ended up stopping by and got a good look at the chimney - it would be easier to rebuild it than tuck-pointing it. He sent me a quote in email, which I agreed to, and he arranged to come over on the next non-raining day. They came as promised on the day, set up scaffolding and did the work efficiently. "The work they did is top notch, I love our patio and couldn't be happier with what they've done with the space. They did a lot of work for us over two months to build a patio and beautiful back yard. We love it. That said, our home is a 70+ year old house in Magnolia with concrete pipes. A year or so after they did the work we had a backup. After the plumbers came out they found that a section of the piping had been crushed by a large rock that had been set while they were regrading the area. The repairs were ~15k all said and done then. I contacted Ryan and he looked into their insurance covering it and they weren't going to do it out of pocket. I value my time more than money and I let it go, and Ryan had some guys come out and fix the area that had to be torn up for free, least they can do. Well after they were done the plumbers spotted another crushed section that lined up and should be 'okay'. Fast forward a year, it wasn't we had another backup. They cleared it and we just had it fixed with another 5k bill. Ryan had said they wouldn't do it for free but 'hours and material'. They didn't give me a quote I shrugged and assumed it would be a mornings worth of work. They came out and spent two days, and they just handed me a bill for another $3200, to clean up after damage they caused and I'm paying for."
