"Ace Tree Service was exceptional! I met with Josh to get a 4th estimate to remove two EXTREMELY large trees on my property. Ace was competitively priced--though I wished the job was not so costly--but I also knew the work required heavy equipment, manpower and expertise to complete the services professionally. After reading all the positive reviews & speaking a couple more times with Josh who answered all my questions thoroughly--he said they could start to job the very next day! I made my decision to choose ACE & I'm so glad I did! The team that performed the work--especially the tree climber and the crane operator--were AMAZING! To see the precision and care they took cutting & removing the huge branches and limbs from these two tremendous trees...let alone the massive trunks was something. It took about 1-1/2 days to complete & they left my yard flawless. They hauled away all the debris and I could not be more thrilled with their work! ACE TREE SERVICE is NUMBER 1 in my book!"

"Overall it was decent work but kind of pricey for what I received. The grass has done reasonably well and it's a year out. (I watered it religiously.) I thought that the rest of the work was done in a perfunctory manner. We had agreed to clear a section of my yard for a garden. The initial price included application of soil if needed. They didn't apply the soil and when I went to plant a month later found a foot of clay and had to apply it myself. I didn't check behind them - I am real busy and just took their word for it. The ground looked OK from a superficial perspective. I suppose that I could have called them (even a month out) and complained and insisted that they take care of this. I bet they would have. But I didn't want the hassle, so I dealt with it myself. I just hate when I have to check behind people. It makes me feel like they are trying to get away with doing shoddy work. In this case they got away with it, but I wouldn't hire them again, or if I did, I would be prepared to supervise and complain and I just don't want to deal with that. Having said that, I feel that they are somewhat better than average when it comes to small jobs (and I have no experience with bigger jobs)."

"We've used Classic Gardens for around 10 years now at least.  They apply the granule fertilizer, which is great for slow release when watered in.  They also have an insect treatment plan that you can get on that treats 3x/year for grubs, army worms, etc.  The guys that come out always leave a hand-written assessment of grass length, moisture, weed issues, etc. and write up what they did that day.  I've been pleased with their service.  Wish they offered a lawn mowing service too and I'd be in! <br />"
