"I can't say enough good things about Sweet Success Contractors. I initially hired them for a huge plaster repair job. The previous owners of the house had hidden a roof leak behind a false wall in the master bedroom and it had left 10+ years of catastrophic damage. They did a complete restoration of the original plaster along with installing insulation and new trim to match the original wood trim that is throughout the rest of the house. They did beautiful work and were very respectful of my home and my dog. I was so happy that I brought them back again to do some work in my kitchen. They ripped up some badly installed ceramic tile (also courtesy of the previous owners). Part of it covered some original hardwood that I was determined to preserve and against all odds they managed to pull up the tile leaving the hardwood largely unscathed. They installed a radiant heat system under a porcelain tile floor that has been delightful all winter long. Once again, they installed a beautiful trim which perfectly matches the original 1937 wood trim in the rest of the house. They also did a repair of yet more water damage in my kitchen ceiling (this time from a bathtub leak) as well as repairing the leaky bathtub and doing some other minor plumbing work. When I had a minor issue with the garbage disposal, they came back same day and fixed it immediately. Still happy, I brought them back a third time to install new radiator covers throughout the house. Again, just perfect. They share my appreciation for original features in the house but they also know how to strike a practical balance between restoration and replacement. They don't know it yet, but their next projects with me are some new basement stairs and a bathroom remodel. I can't wait to hire them again."

"This was a unique circumstance for the extremely wet area. The house foundation (footer) was directly on top of uneven sandstone as was the majority of the floor; along with a fair amount of mud. This also led to difficulties with 'cutting' a channel to accommodate the drain and gravel, as well as the Polydrain (the footer was taller than normal basements). However, the crew was able to overcome these issues; it just took an extra day (for one person, not the entire crew). Two sumps had to be installed due to the design of the house; these pits had to be chiseled out of solid sandstone, mind you. This also meant two drain outlets had to be installed after exiting the house, one of which had to go under a sidewalk. The crew was always polite, taking time to answer my questions and concerns. The work they did was absolutely fantastic. The attention to details was the best I have seen in quite some time from a company contracted for a specific job -- and I've dealt with many contractors. Not only did they take away the material chiseled out from the basement, they did the same for excess dirt after trenching for the discharge pipe -- and they even put down coated grass seed over the new trenches. One of the outlets had to go under a deck; both through flower gardens. When they were done, you would never had known what they had to move, or remove, to have access to those areas. I had several outfits -- both local and regional/national -- come out to give estimates and was most impressed by Engineered Foundation Solutions from the onset. They were slightly higher on cost estimate than the others, but you truly get what you pay for in this case. The knowledge they exhibited from the estimator alone put some of the other companies to shame. He even found a water source under the footer that no other company saw. I cannot stress how impressed I was with this company's crew and the work they performed. I would use them again, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone with a water problem in their basement!"

"I could not be happier ......... Starting with their integrity; I felt from minute one that Prestige Paving would give what they promised ; there was a level of pride in the work they do. A couple of my neighbors had used another paving company and I was about to call them when I took a look at their driveways. After only a couple years, their driveways did not look so hot, plus, I noticed that the end of the asphalted driveways were not even sealed!! So I kept looking and stopped at Prestige because of how friendly and informative they were on our initial phone call. "The owner contacted me 40 minutes after posting. He arrived at my house 2 hours later. He measured the project and quoted me a price two ways, asphalt and concrete. The upgrade for concrete was reasonable, so that's what we went for. A few days later, we signed the contract with 1/3 down-payment. The crew arrived a few days later and demolition began. All work was completed within a reasonable time with only one rain day. We paid an additional 1/3 half way through and the final payment on the last day. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome. We do have two low spots that are holding rainwater. This won't be an issue once we build the carport. The owner gets an A for excellent and honest communication. The crew gets a B... a few no-shows, cellphone use and footprints on fresh concrete. Ours was a huge, complex and challenging concrete job. Peyton was able to pull it off and give us what we asked for!"
